Don't have many albums, but I was following them since watching Streethawk as a child.

Even though I've heard of Tangerine Dream a few years ago, I loved listening to their music, especially the music they did for GTA 5. :(

So sad. Been listening to them since 1983.. Tangerine Dream was Edgar's baby.. I really don't see it going on. RIP Edgar.. Thank you for the beautiful music.

Safe to say there will be no more Tangerine Dream..Edgar was the only original member an majority contributor with most of the current lineup less than 10 years with the group.

So many great soundtracks over the years. Firestarter & Near Dark being my favorites.

So I just found this out today and as my British friends would say I am gutted. :(

My obsession with TD began in 1981 with the film Thief staring James Caan. The music really captivated my imagination and was regularly found on my turntable while I was drawing or painting. As of today I have over 80 Gb of nothing but TD and also have several albums on vinyl which I will always cherish. I knew that TD was gearing down for their last tour and I had prepared myself for the end of TD but I had not been prepared for the loss of it's remaining key member. Should the remaining members decide to continue without Edgar they should change the name of the band.
