This was a massively complex editing job, more so than "No Time for Caution".

I had to write most of the piano stems over from scratch, it borrowed from like 5 different tracks, switching back and forth from one another constantly, repeated bars, ninja edits, pieces I had to make from scratch because it used unreleased material, etc. etc. I had to re-create "Quantifiable Connection" and layer it because it was damaged and the "fixed" versions sounded like shit. I am actually pretty proud of this one.

Credits to theeaglesfan005 for providing me with his phone recording of the end credits, which was the only way this has been made possible.

UPDATE 1/18/15:
Version Two:

Fixed sequencer synchronization issues from 0:52.5 - 1:39.5
Reworked everything after 2:17 - added pipe organ, tremolo harmonic violin stems, more accurate chord progression, built further upon "Quantifiable Connection"
Added high string stem from 3:46 - 4:05
Changed the ending - merged outro of "Our World" with the outro of "What happens Now?", (this is what was missing, and is a big deal because now the ending is 100% accurate to the real end credits suite)
Misc changes based on the IMAX End Credits bootleg recording

I used all lossless sources during the production of this track.

Very impressive work. Thanks for the up.
Hope you don't mind.

I resampled the FLAC to 48kHz instead of the 96kHz.
Used eac3to (modified SSRC) to resample.

I hope it ends up on the BD.
The movie is 2D only (until European distributors get their hands on it and convert it to 3D for BD). Nolan doesn't do 3D.

Lately, most IMAX movies for BD have been getting only IMAX versions on the 3D discs (Transformers: AoE, GotG).
They're really screwing up the home entertainment business and making it IMAX a gimmick.

Nolan has been kind enough with his previous IMAX movies to give us the IMAX version on BD (2 movies really lol).

If we get screwed on the IMAX BD, I'm going to really hate IMAX so much. It's so cumbersome these days.

What do you mean? Does the IMAX version and the regular cinema version differ in the end credits?

I loved the end credits in my cinema, especially the woodwinds section in the middle. I've never heard it anywhere yet (not in your quite astonishing mix either).

The run times are different.
The other super Interstellar thread, I asked about it because i didn't believe it at first.

Although, it's odd that there's no real press releases that indicate anything.
IMAX has the worst advertising/information ever.
You literally have to email them and then they spend a week forwarding emails to everyone else at IMAX staff just to double/triple check info they send in the first email.

They could really vamp up their site with technical info like each movie filmed in IMAX, how many frames are shot in IMAX cameras, 3D IMAX cameras, and if there's variations from other cinematic releases.
Such a shame that it's all just marketing gimmicks run by door-to-door salesmen on the website.

Others will fill in more explicit details though.
I can't remember them; but, it's written down somewhere. :smrt:

The IMAX 70mm end credits are shorter and omit the piano piece/variation that OP had to recreate, it goes straight into What Happens Now. Digital and non-IMAX presentations have the full credits that OP posted, so best to remove IMAX from the name.

Also better quality recording of the credits to use for reference - https://mega.co.nz/#!sxU3gJ5Z!AldTwwTK0GesL68eIx7pHDxPFJKnKMszKZIRjR5 PPWg

It's still using the same "IMAX End Credits" track as the others, even if a small segment was cut out. It's no different than AAD 160 BPM or any other suite that got cut down for end credits. And considering standard release didn't include this track at all, I think keeping IMAX in the title is appropriate. Whether you are technically right or wrong, the people will be looking for this piece using google or whatever by typing IMAX, or associating it with IMAX.

People may still think that the regular version is different from what you posted while in reality it is exactly the same (see the recording I posted and it should be the end credits on the DVD/Blu-ray), the only difference and the source of all this "IMAX" stuff being that the runtime on the IMAX 70mm credits is shorter hence them having to cut part of the credits track to fit.

Don't have to change it, but just explaining to the people who asked about it. Anyway, amazing work and thank you!

Yeah, both the end credits versions (regular and IMAX 70mm) open with Who's They. One thing that always gets me is that bass kick a couple of minutes in (in the credits it's when the title comes up before the scrolling credits)

Saw it 3 times in 70mm IMAX and I can confirm that it was shorter, without the unreleased piece in the middle. Also the credits were static and not scrolling. And the recording I posted is from a recording of the standard non-IMAX version. Can't say about digital IMAX but from what I could see on places like Instagram and based on your post that they had the full 5-minute version.
