Notes:
This Project was a particularly fun album to work on and deserves some attention by
those whom haven't layed ears on it yet. Fans of this fantastic score know the stories
of damaged tape tracks and how it came about and that a pristine LP copy was used
for the LP presentation on the second part of this CD. The LP Track 23 - "Flying
Saucer - First Stop Berlin" still has dropouts that were not damage as much as
covering some distortion during the peaks just before and during the horn and drum roll.
This could be also due to damage of the tapes, as in the Liner notes that bring up the
fact that the Masters were not baked to help prevent damage. Other than that the LP
is in great shape, unlike some tracks on the presentation here before the LP version.
Some damage causing distortion and dropouts were fixed (hopefully exceptable).
Tracks like 03 - "Agent Mimi" and 05 - "Money Penny Goes For Broke"
which was damaged on the LP version as well. Hopefully not to many will feel I've
butchered the tracks up too much. Hope you enjoy this presentation.

I did a vinyl restoration last night from my mint colgems LP, Varese CD was from a damaged tape ,the only tape surviving of the LPs score . Future releases have been from LP copies
The film score masters are MONO only as released on quartet label
If any Vinyl purists out there I can post link to my 24 bit 96khz the best you can get back to the original sound and tapes

I'm probably the only person on the planet who prefers this to the Daniel Craig remake. He's not my Bond.
I've been in love with this mess of a film since first I saw it in a drive-in when I was 13. The first time I purchased the soundtrack it was on reel-to-reel tape. The last track on the album had a version of the title theme with girls screaming like they were at a Beatles concerts dubbed in for added emphasis. Anyone else remember this? I've yet to listen to it, but I'm also hoping they kept the goofy vocal in the closing credits. Thanks for the memory rush, Spectre!
