My favorite was when squall finally opened up to Rinoa at the Balamb Garden Infirmary and realized how important she is to him.

When he went out into space. Dunno why, just like it. I also like it when you travel through the Great Salt Lake or whatever to find Esthar.

I think the ends the best part. I cryed cause I thought Squall had die but my friend told me to watch it to the very end and there he was live I was so happy

I think one of the best parts in the ending was how Seifer smiled just a teensy bit when he saw the Balamb Garden flying over :)
And the flashback about Raine, too.

But I think the best part in the whole game was in the Ragnarok... When Squall and Rinoa were there together.

GOD!I loved that ending! When I first saw the ending my disc kept scipping so I never saw beyond the credits. I too thought Squall died for such a long time. I was going to write hate mail to squaresoft. THAT ENDING WAS SO GREAT! I can never say it so many times.

One other great part was (was it the first flashback/dream) when Laguna tries to go up Julia but his leg cramps up. I found that extreamly funny! I too rated that a -3 on the manliness scale Kiros!

Raine and Laguna were such a beautiful couple..... *sigh*

I think every moment was great except for the date that was set up for squall..

Yup, every romantic moment was superb apart from the date set-up. I don't think I could single out one specific moment. However, if I had to on pain of death probably the ending as its corking.

i like the date betwwen squall and rinoa funny partly cause you can choose the music which is played and i like the tune when played correctly

I love when Squall is finally admiting his feelings toward Rinoa. It's so sad that when he finally does, though, she isn't able to hear him. :( But it's a sweet part, Rinoa really deserves to hear it, after all of the effort she put into changing him. If only she were concious... That would have made her so happy!

I like when squall gave rinoa a piggy back ride and when he was telling her secrets but I know she could not hear poor guy...

Any moment with Selphie or Zell made me laugh.

The most memorable moment was the time when Squall rescued Rinoa from being frozen at the sorceress memorial and the time at the end when they had there first kiss.

I don't cry on games, but the saddest part of the game is when Rinoa is put into a coma and you can't use her for a long time.

i gotta say the garden fight is so cool when you see them throwing al the magic around and you have the punch contest on the green mans flying machine so cool

actually, i think the part when ultimecia says "i am ultimecia" in her last form is the coolest. with "the extreme" playing in the background, and all that piano, it was a great scene.

The first time you get the Ragnarok. The first time hearing that glorious theme that sounds as if it Nobuo Uematsu culled it from the essence of pure joy.

FF8 has so many great scenes...
the opening, dance scene and ending have to be my favorites... but there are so many good moments to the game

My favourite part of the entire game was the parade at Deling City at the end of disk one. When I saw the FMVs my jaw was on the floor......I couldn't believe the presentation of it. Even when I play the game now, it still impresses me a little.

have to say, my favourite moment is when ellone takes squall back through time to find out what happened to her in the escape pod, and you witness Rinoa and Irvine driving away from the D-District Prison, their argument, then Rinoa getting her own way (surprise MUCH!!!) and them going back, although Laguna eavesdropping on Raine & Ellone in Winhill is funny as hell too!

I liked the part when the SeeDs at balamb garden were hammering it out aganist the Galbadia soldiers. You know the part where its this massive fight between all of them, and there are explosions and sword fighting and crap like that..thats where it really made me want to play the game more.

I really loved the dance scene, it was way too cute!! I showed it to my 6 year old boy-crazy neice (they start young...) and she fell in love! lol, she has a huge crush on him! :love:

I LOVED the ending scene when Laguna was visiting Raine's gravesite... he is sooo sexy. But then again, the scene when Rinoa is suffocating in space was beautiful.

My favourite moments would have to be dueling Seifer, and going to Esthar.
I mean, you had to go in a group of 3 to fight Seifer all the time? It kinda tells you how lame Squall was at fighting this guy on his own..

I got three favorites, The beginning, the best best fucking beginning of all time. The ending when they find eachother I love the song "Eyes on Me" song rocks the fuckin house, I think its what made the ending as good as it what. The parade where it was showing the dancers, Seifer, and Edea.

i loved the opening scene!the Ragnarok attacking Lunatic Pandora rocked, and the battle between Balmab and Galbadia, those wher the best scenes. i didnt like the part of the end that was not using the good graphics, it wasnt a true FMV the rest was flawless.

the best 4 me would be, the one where squall and rinoa danced, where squall realizes that rinoa is very important 2 him, the space scenario, when squall rescues rinoa out in space, and of course, the ending, the credits, and the ultimate ending!

Something in the game that really makes me laugh (even now, when I�ve played it about a thousand times) is when Squall and the others are in Rinoas train (?) to do their first mission as SeeDs. Zone wants to shake hands with Squall but he just nods. And then, when he�ve woken Rinoa up and she wants to shake hands.. lol, he actually does, and.. I dont know, I just thinks it funny. The dance scene still makes me blush and laugh. I cant stand Squalls abandon-puppy-face at the end when Rinoa leaves him at the dancefloor though. When Squall saves Rinoa from the lizards is also really great.. I dont know, everything about the game is just so great! Rinoa and Squall is the cutest couple ever in Final Fantasy.. Thats what I think anyway ;P

Question! Is it just me, or is Julia actually Rinoas mom? I mean.. When you�re Laguna talking to Kiros and Raine, she says that Julia married General Caraway. And he�s Rinoas dad, right? So.. she must be.. and Laguna and Raine, are they really Squalls parents?! God, Hironobou is really good at confusing people.

I would have to say (but I haven't beaten the game) when squall yells "RUN TO THE LEFT" as you run you see the cut scene of The Garden kicking Balambs ass, it's great, you see fireballs coming from overhead, you see a Soilder get sliced of his bike.

Every time I play a FF game, I always restart the game before I fight the final boss, cos I'm never ready to have to finish the game, which is bloody sad when you come to think of it!

My fav parts in FF8 is just after the team wake up from the Laguna dream on the way to Timber, Squall says 'I had a dream, but it wasn't nice, I dreamt I was a moron' that always makes me laugh, and the other one is in the prison just after Squall rescues Zell and Zell gets all clingy, meaning Squall has to butt him on the head with his gun.

Playing it again at the mo (both me and my fella at the same time) and have now found out that disc 2 of mine is completely bolloxed, so I am not particularly happy at the mo, just have to borrow his copy!
