This is an assortment of various visual novel associated soundtracks that I've accumulated. Most everything is tagged and comes with scans, I'll be sure to note where those are absent. I've found I appreciate when other people actually say something about the album or content it's based off of, so I'll try and post a little something alongside the music. If anyone has any visual novel music themselves they feel like sharing, I'd encourage you to post it here (or in the lossless thread). Also, should anyone have any recommendations for noteworthy visual novels I'd love to hear those too.

It's hard for me to say anything about this game without going into a fan-crazed monologue... so I'll try my best to keep this concise.

Umineko no naku koro ni is an unreasonably good game.

The music was the hook, I figured out what it belonged to, figured out what a visual novel was... BOOM!
Been into the genre ever since. It goes to show that Umineko is still the best one I've read, and is one of the most inspiring literary works I've read to date. The game features some 200-or so tracks, and they're scattered among MANY CD releases.
Best get started!

Found this one through vndb's higher rated selections, and both this and Grisaia had me thinking that every single protagonist was a complete dick who deserved any misgivings God might throw his way. Though I have some misgivings about the VN itself, I won't go into it here cause it'll turn into a rant. Onto the music:

90% of the music features some arrangement (and sometimes a VERY liberal arrangement) of classical music. It's not particularly in your face, and I've got quite a few tracks from this soundtrack in "while I draw" playlist.

Just a quick disclaimer though: 1-07 いま、最高か is a track to be wary of. SO HELP ME, if I hear that horribly, goofy, chinese firedrill of a song I may shoot myself.

But don't let that scare you away from this soundtrack though, it's a step away from what you'd expect from VGM (if you consider this VGM) and classical pieces are pretty consistent, even when they're liberally arranged.
Note: I derped and forgot to include the .cue, w/e not like that's a big deal.

The first 5 discs of this Box are all vocal albums. They feature the same handful of songs featuring a different vocalist for each disc. My personal take on these discs is that even if you like vocal albums this can get redundant. The 6th disc features the game's BGM soundtrack, which has a much more pleasant variety to it. Track 6-17 "Calling" is the sorta short and sweet melodic stuff that I'm a sucker for, check it out.

So I finished this VN relatively recently, and I rather enjoyed it, despite it digging itself into an explicit and grotesque niche. It wasn't terribly long either, so I got through it in only a few sessions. It's a horror story, and as such the music is jarring at times, but there's some very nice, if somewhat eerie, pieces mixed in. Give it a listen, and maybe pickup the VN itself. But it isn't something to read while there's someone watching over your shoulder if you know what I mean...

Interestingly the title of the soundtrack is incorrectly romanized. As seen on the cover the name is written "Natuzora Kanata" as opposed to the correct way "Natsuzora Kanata".

I've never heard of Absolute Obedience, but I do know the Saya no Uta Original Soundtrack (http://vgmdb.net/album/2978), and I do have it. I'll admit I haven't cleaned up the tags or anything on that one, but it should be a relatively painless endeavor. I'll get it up asap, but my biggest bottleneck is my upload speed (which is pretty bad). I'm uploading Maji de Watashi ni Koishinasai! S Music Collection (http://vgmdb.net/album/30933) right now, and that won't be done for a couple hours. I'm not sure what to up next...? I'm hesitant to start any bigger titles like Steins;Gate, Fate/whatever, etc. There are so many albums belonging to those series that I feel if I start up'ing them I'll never ever finish them all. It'll simply take WAY too long to get them all up and I can't realistically expect myself to follow through on something like that.
I'm thinking maybe one of these next:
-Kara no Shoujo
-Grisaia no Kajitsu
-Muv-Luv (maybe just the major soundtracks, not all those OPs and whatnot)
-Narcissu

But I'll tell you I can help you acquire these albums regardless. It'd be a mess of tedium, so if there's a handful you really are having a hard time finding then I can try to help get you links for those, but I just check nyaa out to see, and it yielded a few results... So I'd say, take a crack at it real quick, and I'll help you pick up the pieces.
