One can do some encoding and/or muxing to get iTunes to play the files (you could just turn the FLAC into an Apple Lossless M4A file), but having a 24-bit file isn't really worth the space if you don't have the right sort of audio equipment to play it back in its true quality (and even then you may not hear a difference!).

how about with my Rogers LS35A speakers ...lol

I imagine they would, yeah... but again, it depends on your personal hearing ability too.

On subject on vinyl recording . has anyone done a 24bit 96Khz transfer yet. I am told quality is awesome. Will itunes and vox play them???

There is absolutely no quality benefit; only file-size bloat. 44.1khz accurately reproduces frequencies up to 2000hz above the limitations of human hearing; likewise, a depth of greater than 16 bits is equally pointless due to the dynamic range of vinyl and the noise floor. It's not a matter of equipment or golden ears - most of it is simple mathematics and the rest is related to human physiology.

I use high sample rates and bit depths for the initial transfer (there is marginal benefit if you are going to do a lot of post-processing) but never for the final distribution.

Just finished listening, sounds pristine, thanks again!
But i got one question - is it should be in mono?
I've opened all wav's in Adobe Audition to move few clicks and saw that both channels are the same
