Hey y'all. I just watch finished Hellsing and I felt that the anime was too Damn short and I wanted to find our more about the show. Did anybody ever felt the same thing about the anime as well?

Also, I would like to know wether Hellsing the Comic ends on book 7? Does anybody here know?

The manga hasn't ended yet. That's just as far as it's been published in Japan so far.

There's been "talk" (talk being net rumors) of a second season of Hellsing for a while now.

I was cool with the way it ended, but more Hellsing would be pretty awesome.

I can't get into the manga- the translation is all funky.

Each syllable in a name is translatd into 1 chinese character that has a similar sound. NOt quite similar, but relatively close...... if you call the distance from the moon to earth close. So Alucard name is now something like ah-loo-car..... Intergra is something like ink-te-ger-la....... NOw that is funky

rikku love: yeah i like the series a lot even though it's short. havent read the manga though. the main character (alucard) kinda reminds me of vash stampede (trigun). u should see it if u like vampires lol.

he's like vash because of his costume and his gun is quite similar to vash's. it's more of a serious anime. and pretty gory too lol

Ahh..... I didn't know that you actually watch Hellsing Huntress krystle. About Alucard...... He is like no other manga Character I know....... He is so way cool!!! About the gore level... In the Anime, it's not that gory.... However the manga is totally different. HTough I doubt that much blood can drip out of half a head. Sometimes the Blood is a bit unbelievable, There is really a lot of blood. I pity the poor artist who had to colour the manga. There is a bit of comedy, but the main attraction is the action. Did you guys know that Kohta Hirano (The Author) actually meant it to be a Hentai comic? It's true! Really!

I think just about everyone has seen Hellsing.

And since manga tends to be printed in B&W, there probably wasn't a big issue about coloring. :P

Hellsing is good, and i would enjoy more episodes, but it is fine the way it is now, IMO, and Alucard... i wouldnt exactly say he's like Vash.... o.o;

Alucard is the Vampire that is working in a organisation that is called Hellsing. He basically is a lot like BLade, but he is way more powerful. Think the ability to change form and with a Immortal body to boot. He can't die, so He goes around killing all of the other vampires that are trying to destroy the peace in England.

About the Hentai stuff..... HE originally meant to draw it as a hentai, but it some how turned into the Comic that we all (I think) Love.:-D

Alucard is the most powerful vampire in existence, apparently. Though I haven't read the comics, and have only seen the first two DVD's.

Good series that stopped way too early.
The mangas still come out but the anime hasn't gone anywhere yet.
I want to see the rest of both.

Odin, I've read the first five (of seven, currently) volumes of the manga and haven't seen anything about Alucard's origins. There isn't anything about it in the anime either.

Danielsan, it's not likely that there will ever be any more Berserk anime because the rest of the story is far too graphic for tv. I know the powers that be considered continuing the show as an OVA series, but nothing's come of it.

Well do you guys count the bit in the 11 episiode where Integra releases Alucard? You know in the flashback scene?

If I'm lucky, I'll be able to get book 7 soon here. Gods knows i'm dying to see it.:-D

Nope, I don't count that since it isn't about Alucard's origins, just a bit of his history.

Origins relative to his working for the Hellsing Organization, maybe. But not his origins talking about how he became a vampire or his ascent to the power he currently has.

Ooh, here's an interesting idea for a silly thread.

Alucard from Hellsing vs. Kain from the Legacy of Kain games, as he was at the end of Defiance in addition to the forms he could take in the first Blood Omen (what happened to those abilities? Wolf Form was quite awesome).

One hell of a fight, I'd imagine, what with how they both had very similar powers.

Really? I have yet to see the game....... How about Vampire hunters versus Vampires thread? Then you can add charaters like Morrigan From the Darkstalkers series.......lolz:D
