Sounds like quite a challenge doesn't it?

I morphed Emerald weapon the other day and didn't get anything >:O . I wasn't really expecting to though, because I'm sure someone would've done it by now.

Has anyone ever morphed Ruby?

You can't morph the weapons. You can't morph bosses, either. Not even all of the other monsters. Nothing will happen, if you try. ;)

Then I guess I meant "killed the Weapons on a morph attack" instead of actually morphing them into anything. You never know, something cool might have popped out. Besides, now if I ever hear any rumors I can say "nope, I've done it". :)

I found out Emerald has over 1,049,895 HP and less than 1,199,880 (based on my Omnislash doing 9999 15 times).

Cloud 9, Omnislash hits 20 times, I believe for about 200,000 damage (199,980, to be exact).

Wow, its stronger than I thought...it makes 15 noises =) . It seems like Emerald has to have over 1 million HP because it can take 7 of my Omnislashes with Cloud at max stats and hero drinked doing 9999 every time. The only thing I can think of is maybe Cloud was hitting the little dots that open up. But I don't think Emerald got to that point.

yea...thats the first time i've ever heard that it hits 20 times

well, Emerald dies after 8 hits with KOTR so that equals...

9999 x 13 = 129987

129987 x 8 = 1039896

but if you only hit him 7 times that would equal 909909

so 1 million sounds about right.

couldn't someone just use 'sense' materia and find out?

and btw, Omnislash does 'about' 16 hits per square's site

I know what you are talking about. I tried to morph almost everything in the whole game. I never tried on Emerald weapon, that's for sure. I can't remember Ruby though. I think I tried that one before, but I can't remember. I definitely tried to morph Ultima weapon and all the bosses before. But like I said, you can't morph those. :rolleyes:

Every time I tried to morph a weapon I managed to get defeated. I had kind of bad luck with morphing so i never really tried a lot through the game.

Apparently theres a trick with yuffie that when you morph with her you can do 9999 damage

Yuffie+Conformer trick. Even with morph, she still does standard damage.

Omnislash hits 15 times (I've counted, trust me it's not hard).

For me Emerald Weapon only has about half HP though :D.

Since nobody knows exactly how many times Omnislash hits (it does make exactly 15 noises, but I can't see the hits (I don't have matrix or DBZ vision), Xaos is probably right and Emerald has exactly 1 million HP. Does anybody know how many hits Highwind and Ungarmax have?

And what are you talking about Landlord? Emerald has half HP O_o?

I have one slow motion video of Omnislash. It is very unclear because on 2 occations, the damage numbers "moved" without changing value. This makes the possibility of 15-17 hits in that occation.

2 things
1. when i tried to Count omnislash i lost it at about 18 hits
2. I heard somewhere that when fighting Emerald Weapon, if a character has only two materia equiped, the Aire Tam Storm (?) it will only do 2000 damage to that character. Is this intel right? if so does that mean that you can get the Lucky sevens during the fight (dont ask me why you'd want it during a Weapon fight but.....)

it is impossible, I've tried a couple times with no success, in fact, nothing happened at all.

I dont think it's possible to morph any boss type moster (weapon included), and even if you could the OSG states that you will recieve nothing anyway.

Omnislash hits 16 times, I'm pretty sure. It's all you need to take down Safer Seph (I know a way!) And someone I know, he said his disc glitched or somethin', but he killed Emerald with a Morph and it turned into Sapphire Weapon (the one who got its head blown off at Junon) with one HP, then he morphed it again and it turned back into Emerald Weapon with one HP. Pretty crazy, but it might be possible, if you haven't tried it yet then it's worth a try.

I haven't done this yet. Did you not get the Earth Harp droped either morphing him? That would really suck.

Its impossible. Can't Morph ANY Bosses. Believe me, I've tried.

I know that you don't actually get anything from killing the weapons on a morph attack because I've done it. I made the thread to see if anyone else had actually killed the weapons using Morph.

Dont worry, eventually people will understand...

He means, have you ever gotten the weapons' HP low enough, to use morph on them, and kill the weapon. He isn't talking about what you get from them, just the fact that he took the time to morph them.

As for me, no. I don't like to mess around too much in battles against them... ;)

The OSG lists for Master Tonberry that it does not morph. However, I have seen myself that Master Tonberry morphs into ribbons, as the fact that every one of my characters has a ribbon proves. I don't know how that happened, but it does prove that the OSG isn't infallible.

Granted there are secrets and tips that were in the game that are not general knowledge, but I wouldn't go off like you did FF1WithAllThieves and say that you really morphed Master Tonberry. Maybe a movie or a few decent screenshots would sway the people's opinions in here that bosses can be morphed, albeit that I still haven't morphed a boss successfully or tried to hard for that matter.
