There's alot of understandable confusion about this series of CDs. There are 3 volumes (boxsets), each with 3 CDs in their own jewel case. Each box/volume is named after one of the three CDs, wrongly suggesting that's the theme of the entire box. Here's the actual breakdown:

50 Years of the Music by Laurie Johnson, Volume 1 "The Avengers"
Disc 1. The Avengers
Disc 2. TV, Film, Concert Hall
Disc 3. Military music

Disc 1. The Professionals

Disc 1. The New Avengers
Disc 2. Stage shows
Disc 3. TV, Film, Concert Hall, Military music.
