It's a sampler. Various scores by various composers.
Sometimes tracks/versions exclusive to the promo (if not already leaked in sessions).

Like with the Hannibal sampler that was given out during the 2014 comic-con.
Just a limited promo.

This one may not have been handed out to the public domain like comic-con Hannibal.
It maybe just for registered members who apply to MV/RC and are given a free sampler (as serious membership would limited to rich investors/customers for serious business inquiries).

Whoever got it, made MP3 version of it.

OP mentioned he doesn't remember much details, so it's likely a really old rip.

It's MP3@V2, MediaInfo shows.
Writing library : LAME3.99r
Encoding settings : -m j -V 2 -q 0 -lowpass 18.5 --vbr-new

Which is still a HQ MP3.
We can't even normally hear up to 18.5, anyhow.
