Stolen from who ? If anything, it's the original FYC disc which is stolen. You people make it sound like whoever first post something is the "owner" of the music, LOL. If you don't want anything to be further distributed/shared, why share in the first place !?

But, in general, I can agree that everything gets much cleaner if uploads of the same things are placed in the same thread, and not create new ones for every upload.

Let me put it this way : when ppl post something he/she either buy or trade to get the CD in the first place then rip & upload. It takes money, time and effort. (see DAKoftheOTA's Vinyl uploads).
Or at least you should find a way to download the album before posting it. amanda fulfilled lots of requests through soulseek download (searching, queueing, downloding) it also takes time and effort.

I don't post MP3 versions of vinyl, because that is just downright stupid. You don't downconvert vinyl to MP3, if you do the entire process (which as aktivisten said takes time, money (you do have to buy it) and effort) is a waste of time. I warned tapoktro in the past that should he re-post one of my rips as his own and make money off them, I would put a stop to it. And that's exactly what I did. I had his thread shut down. Your opinions may be different than ours, but when it comes to tapoktro we all have the same opinion. Have a nice day :)

Lockdown bought this, therefore he should be the one getting the credit for his generosity in sharing. He spent the money on it so he could share it with us. But tapoktro then grabbed it and reposted it here without giving Lockdown any credit just to make money off the ignorant users here who click his links, which is simply greedy and unfair. There is literally no other reason he would make this thread. He even linked back to his copy of KevinG's original iTunes upload. The downright cheek of it. And yes, I do realise that tapoktro's upload is mp3, as opposed to the lossless-only that Lockdown posted, but that doesn't detract from the fact that tapoktro is just doing it for the money. He's using good, generous people for his own ends. Anyone can convert to mp3, and I'm sure somebody else could've sent Lockdown a link to an mp3 upload for him to add to his original post. There was no need to steal his thunder by starting a new thread, claiming the share as yours just so you could make a profit.
