Santa was particularly thoughtful this year: A pair of Powerbeats 2 headphones, Kip Thorne's Science of Interstellar , and Scott Snyder's Joker-centric Death of a Family graphic novel - should keep my lips moving for awhile - with the cool Joker mask.

Ho, ho, ho, everybody. And in the immortal words of their Royal Satanic Majesties, a.k.a. the Rolling Stones, if you didn't get want you wanted, I hope you got what you needed.

Santa brought me 2 dress shirts, a silk tie, a velvet tie, slippers, a new iHome, a vinyl, some socks and some cash. And he also threw a 1080p copy of The Interview in my OneDrive

Samsung s3 mini.

My first phone in decades.
Not pay-as-you-go either.

A huge upgrade over my previous phone from the early 2000's that isn't a flip-phone.
Just a little brick what I used to have.

My deepest sympathies as well. But I'd take employment over unemployment, which is where I'm at right now.

Thanks. It's not so bad except for the fact that the only money I have received so far was $40 for training.

Usually that's MY thing. Don't steal it from me!

In all seriousness, that has indeed been an issue from time to time each year.

I've been unemployed for a VERY long time. Now I work in a movie theater. It's fun, and quite a workout at times, though listening to nearly 20 minutes of Hobbit end title music four times a day or more is really grating on the nerves, as is listening to Annie...though that "Moonquake" song is kind of catchy. I hope I'll be kept after the standard 90 day probation but one can never tell with these things.

By the way, I sent you a PM a few days ago. Hope you enjoy it!

Meant also to add "Severe Depression"...

Suffice to say, you don't want to know the details... trust me. I'm wondering why I'm even here still breathing to be honest...

Santa is just a legend, you know?

Oh, sure. Next you'll be telling me it was actually my parents who put the presents under the tree. And that all the parents around the world decided to give their children gifts on the same day. That's a good one. I have proof of Santa: the milk and cookies were always gone the next day.

Oooh, let me try because this is kind of fun: the Easter Bunny is really just an appropriation of a pagan fertility legend by the Church. Right, and church elders ate the milk and carrots I left for him.

You have a future in comedy writing.

Nu-uhh

I have proof of Santa: the milk and cookies were always gone the next day.

My proof is that Santa's boot prints were always left in the soot in the fireplace.

And let's not forget the tooth fairy, now
