Thanks in advance for this!;) I wish SonicAdventure could "fix" all the Hobbit scores in 24-bit FLAC. I think the two latest scores sound way too dry and something else. To me they lack a certain "warmth", but i'm not sure how to describe it.

I think the scores deserve that treatment, but I can understand that it is too much work.

Until you posted it, Fjanfag, I didn�t even know that it was available in 24 Bit. And I did look before I purchased it this year! To anyone who is interested: the third score is available too, go grab them at HDTracks. Since I already bought this one, I will gladly augment my CD with this download you so kindly offered. For HDTracks to work in your country, you�d need to give the impression that you�re coming from the US. A proxy server will do fine (but finding one with decent bandwidth will be a pain in the ass).

Not really.
You can have it any sample rate. Not bit-depth inclusive.
48 is common for DVD and Bluray formats.
Since this is all music, it's likely the studio decided to keep it all CD-compliant (44.1).
