Hi There,

It has been an awful long time since I've been involved in filesharing and I have quite a few scores that I'd like to share, nothing major or exciting but just a few things I haven't seen on my perusal of the site.

However, the last time I was really active I used Megaupload which doesn't exist anymore - can anyone suggest ones that are good for free uploads and won't be too problematic for people to download from

Thanks

Dan

Well.

You're going to deal with people from all sorts of countries.

Every opintion will be different.

The only reason people have problems with mega.co.nz is mostly with country-restrictions.
India + Australia have the most restrictions when it comes to music scores compared to the next Justin Beiber album.

Any other service usually requires a paid-premium service or most people will likely clickon buttons and links that generate PUP (Potentially Unwanted Programs).
More often than not, every site has at least 2 things you can click.
Really read what you click.
If there's a checkbox, you can safely uncheck that box and then download using the underlined text.

Most sites are designed to capitalize on ad revenues.
Adblocker and NoScript (Firefox) will help this to narrow down what you can safely click on.
Also, doing google searches wil also help this.

MEGA.co.nz shouldn't create much problems for you.
Unless your ISP is one of the major contenders towards MEGA services.

SolidFiles is a good service that's fast for free users that don't need to sign-up.

But, most people click the wrong button and end up downloading the site's own spammy downloader.

Mega.co.nz is HTML5, purely.
So anyone claiming to get ads or malware has multile tabs open and not paying attention to what they're doing.
MEGA.co.nz doesn't rely on ads like most free options for filesharing.

Even MediaFire relies on ads.

I have Adblocker and NoScript enabled, plus AntiMalwarebytes software.
Even their Anti-Exploits.

So anyone claiming to be exposed to any such malware, it's simply because they clicked the wrong button.

just dont upload on a fileshare that need "premium" to download.
many have been the times where i stumble on *free stuff site* with a fucking rapidgator link that only works for premium users.
