I'm going to guess it's a transcode from iTunes.
Every track encounters errors when running through Foobar2000's "Verify Integrity".
"Warning: Reported length is inaccurate"

LAME is no longer at 3.97.

It's a steady 3.99.5 now.
There's even a 3.100 alpha stage out there (highly expirmental; not for archiving).

In foobar2000, you can also see this:

Do a Google search on that particular version, you see nothing recent. Most recent year for that search is content from (at the latest) 2010.

There are two "track 2" in this.

"Back Into the Woods" is listed as track 2.
It is, but disc 2/track 2.

So far it seems okay. Updated orchestra compared to the 80's (UNlike most musicals that don't add electric guitar to the mix for 25th Anniversaries).
But seems like it's been slowed and lowered tempo just to keep up with the actors.
Meryl Streep as The Witch seems like a Beginner's Sing-A-Long version. :laugh:

Don't know if it as anything to do with being poor.
Just whatever the international copyright laws allow.
Whatever their music and copyright laws are, might not allow certain licences to be purchased.
For instance, I, in Canada, can only access 1/4 of HDAccess. And Netflix over here is way different than USA Netflix.

India is another country that's known to have limitations and restrictions on USA sales.
Why this is? Do a google search and find out the real reason why?

2014 since it's the film soundtrack.
This is the only ITW film adapation. Rights to produce a film were obtained only this century while it's been in talks for decades.

And there's a track by Christophe Beck. It's the only track he's credited to on this album, but I'm sure someone will be able to find more information on his involvement with this film. I doubt he showed up to compose just one track and then leave.
He must have conducted while he was there, no?
