Thank you! I've only listened to this twice so far and I'm still getting used to it. It takes getting used to! I remember reading somewhere that someone thought Goldsmith's Logan's Run soundtrack showed the greatest variation in music that they had ever heard in a single soundtrack. And while Logan does go through a lot of different musical styles, it's downright coherent compared to this. This music is bafflingly, challengingly weird, yet it's starting to make sense. There is some great stuff in here, but it's really making me want to watch the film so I can see how all of this goes together. One thing about Leone/Morricone, they were not afraid of challenging their audiences. Wish there were directors and composers even half-way as brave these days.
