I believe you can rip the tracks using the DownloadHelper plugin for Firefox. Of course, you'd have to tag all the tracks and such yourself, but I'm just letting y'all know that there IS a way.

I'd say both ARE true. They don't mention which tracks go in which order on the site, and when you download the preview file, the quality is quite low.

BUT! When you do have an account (like I do) you get every thing! Tracks in chronological order, high quality lossless (24bit 48 kHz), and even slates! I should know since I downloaded this.

Well, as far as I know the general public can't make accounts (or you'd have to create a very convincing fake company to do so) so I assume hac3rman represents some sort of media company. I think the best others can get is to just rip the streaming file itself.

That's cool you have an account though, hack3rman. There are probably a dozen trailer music companies with SourceAudio libraries that I'd love to search through and download from.

Sure, 128k is not FLAC24 but they sound ok and not bad. Remember some years back when mp3 was new... all rips were in 128k and everybody was ok with that because nobody noticed any different in comparison to the original CD.

However, feel free to share it in 320k or FLAC24 ;-) to save them the trouble to download and tag them. I haven't listened to the score yet so I don't know if it's good or not. Maybe they all want it because it's a Beltrami score.. I don't know.

The soundtrack is certain to be better than the film but god bless Hammer Films for trying.

Can't really share it now due to previous circumstances... But if anyone is interested, PM me and I'll give you some details.

Cutting Edge Group [gb] (http://www.imdb.com/company/co0212862/)

Check all the films they brought musical services. Ironically, they worked in Romeo & Juliet, but we don't know if they worked with Horner or Korzeniowski. None of their scores was published in the site.

Well, I've just listened to a sample of the score and it sounds pretty good to me. I don't know about you though but I think it sounds good.

The soundtrack is certain to be better than the film but god bless Hammer Films for trying.

If what's presented at Cutting Edge actually represents Beltrami's score to The Woman in Black 2 then it's just as dull as dishwater as his first one. Hell, he probably pumped this out in the morning before even finishing his first cup of coffee. It's that devoid of musical interest. Completely absent any sense of time and place, utterly disinterested in subtext or character, it serves no narrative role whatsoever, essentially functioning as just another sound effects track.

In essence, anonymous dross. Certainly nothing to get excited about.

But it might work well with the film, which is its primary purpose. If so it might well serve a perfectly fine narrative role.

You're idea of what work's "well" is obviously different than mine.

For those interested, I ripped the streaming files (https://mega.co.nz/#!rRtUxQRK!brPUMHgR33cv8wqTad4Q8nnWOYRtYuOmDnMYxJG a8IU). They're 128kbps MP3, though are oddly encapsulated in FLV files. Don't ask me why.

No offene, gururu. But stop acting like a old fart complaining in every thread. The score continues with the themes from the first one. Also, Beltrami is not the only composer. Brandon Roberts andMarcus Trampp wrote additional music.

I did say "might". I just cannot feel I can really pass judgment on a score without seeing the film accompanied with said music - as I think anyone should.

I really don't think I need a crystal ball to foresee The Woman in Black 2 being as tepid an affair as the first. And having watched more than my fair share of horror films I feel confident in my judgement that, as far as this score franchise is concerned, Beltrami, a uber-talented fellow, is sleepwalking to the bank.
