Thanks again for this score. After a few months, I'd say 90% of the scores I listen to I move on with, just not all that good. This one is just entertaining and a nice ride and I still find myself listening to it. Great and hope to see the full promo someday.

It is such a travesty that this score doesn't have an official release. Such a beautiful, richly orchestrated, fully symphonic adventurous score that Hollywood seems to lack nowadays, and they don't release it.

Have mercy, film music critics who received promo CD from Chris Young, and rip the music for us!

Edit: Ha, I just read that the bulk of the score was recorded here in Slovakia! I should have come to the recording studio and steal the masters :)

There was a new interview with Young about this score at the IFMCA awards which was put on Youtube today. Young indicates that there is some convoluted legal situation between the two main stakeholders in the film which makes it impossible to release an album. He says it breaks his heart and that of all his recent scores this is the one he'd most like released.

I noticed there is a page for a boot of the promo on the Chinese Myspace-esque streaming music site Douban Music. I ran it through google translate but I can't tell if there's a way to stream it or not. Anyone? Link:

Thank you so much! I love Chris Young and was hoping for an official release, or at least a promo through Intrada or something... But this is absolutely better than nothing, and I greatly appreciate the upload! Lets keep our fingers crossed that Young will one day get to release the score the way he'd like it heard.
