Could the powers at be create a new 'Film Trailer Score Request' Thread please?

There are a few Film Trailers, to whom I want the score of and they are from the late 80's early 90's.

And I've searched the WHOLE WWW and found sod all.

This isn't a thread to post albums and music, just to ask for the score played in Film Trailers and getting back the answers.

What do you guys think?

Thank you for reading.

Fully supported. I've been searching for trailer music to movies from around 1986-1994 for ages, and outside pop music, scores from other films, and the excellent John Beal 2CD, nothing. John Eric Alexander, the composer of Lethal Weapon and Die Hard trailers, used to have a promo CDs available to industry people. I think they're no longer in print. Never seen the tracks available anywhere. Truly a shame if all those tracks are gone.

Ummmm...wouldn't THIS thread suffice for that? Unless you mean a sub-forum of it's own. Or if you mean a sticky. PM Jessie and ask this thread to be stickied then edit your OP to suit you.....

I mean't a sticky, it's only to help others like myself and tp320 to find trailer music we've been seeking out for years.

A request thread is plenty enough for this forum.

Go to tehparadox, there's way more trailer enthusiasts over there.
Making a sticky of a trailer request thread would ultimately be useless.

I have a thread for surround sound trailer mixes, which is kind of what you seem to be interested in (in some cases you can edit out dialogue and sound effects if the surround mix is engineered in such a way) but you'll likely have to visit tehParadox or Rutracker if you want some legitimate trailer music albums.

@Skeleton - I'm not after albums and lots of music, only the pieces of score that's used in a 2-3 min Film Trailer, there are six Film Trailers that I have no score for, I have searched and mentioned my plight with tehparadox, months ago, I had no luck.

tehparadox, months ago, I had no luck.

It would be safe to say if you can't find it there, it's going to be extremely difficult to find.
There used to be an old Spanish forum that was a really good source for trailer music.
It's since stopped and moved to that paradox forum.

There's a few things I seek in lossless, but it doesn't exist (to the most secretive sharers).

Your best bet at this point is to keep checking in on tehparadox for any updates.
Subscribe to their discussion thread with instant email updates.

Also inquire in their discussion thread if anyone uses anything like that filesharing service some use here.

I forgot the name, it's mentioned several times here in the forum... if I remember, I'll get back with the name of the service...

I tried to get on my tehparadox account, but I've been blocked from their website, by my Internet provider:

The Film Trailer Scores I seek:

Free Willy (1993) - Starting at 1:20 - the final of the 1:52 trailer.

Predator (1987) - The whole trailer.

Die Hard 2 - Die Harder (1990) - After 'Jingle Bell Rock', when the narrator speaks: 'Christmas Eve.' starting at 0:23 seconds of the 2:43 trailer.

Air Force One (1997) - The Whole 1:43 Teaser Trailer.

Die Hard With A Vengeance (1995) - Starting at 1:42 of the 2:37 trailer.

Diana (2013) - I think it could be Scott Lee Miller - Milo Eons - If Not? God Knows.

These are the ONLY trailer scores I seek. No albums etc. Just theses pieces, and I know they're out there somewhere!

I read that some countries will be blocking tehparadox through ISP's.

But, honestly, if those haven't already been released or surfaced by now, they'll be very difficult to find.

Looks like tehParadox is down for good, or it's just some sort of hacker hoax again.

If you could find 5.1 mixes to the trailers in question, there's a slight chance you could remove the center channel (where most SFX and dialogue is kept) and maybe - just maybe - have a nice clean copy of the music. Usually the DVD and Blu-ray releases have trailers for their respective films as special features.

What I'll do is upload the YouTube links to the Film Trailers and make a request on this thread or another one.

tehparadox, I think, is extinct for me now.

It is fine. And Sparky, the service you are thinking of is SoulSeek, a peer to peer sharing system.
