Today, 30 years ago, an incredible movie opening in American cinemas. Reigniting the seemingly dead horror and introducing the world to the legend that is Freddy Krueger and his impact on pop culture ranks him as one of the most famous characters in history.
After years of painstaking, hair-pulling work, I present a brand new expansion to an album that really deserves an upgrade on its 30 year.
But ... is this complete? Yes and no. It's missing short shock pieces within 2 tracks. Apart from that, everything runs as you hear it.
One point I'd like you guys to understand. Apart from Flash Gordon (to be released in January), this is the hardest project I've ever done. Every attempt has been made to give you the clearest, cleanest score possible. There are moments throughout where some background noise, SFX, dialogue and screams remain.
And a special thanks to DAKoftheOTA and heidl for the great new artwork plus my friend The Long Island Ripper for a little hand from a friend of his, it was much appreciated

Yeah. I could be wrong. I'm just going by the IMDb, it said November 9. I had it in my head it was November 2 so I spent 17 hours that day finishing it til I looked again hehe

Today's the 1st anniversary of this release and the first without Wes Craven. There's been a lot of talk about the recent release of the 8 disc special edition but the new remaster of the original isn't as complete as this one. I will do an update as well as an anniversary update for Part 2 and an improved Part 3 album
