This is terribly exciting! Let's hope Sawano's work lives up to ACE+ and friends, his only other work on this scale is UC Gundam, and that lacked variety in some cases.

Only 55 tracks? Another news outlet stated that there would be 90+ tracks in the actual game, so it looks like everything didn't make the cut.

Also... Good grief, Sawano-san has redoubled his efforts to make his work twice as confusing to comprehend. Those track names appear to be nothing more than a jumble of letters and numbers. xD

If this is some kind of elaborate prank, then it's well-done. Dubious, though.

The jumble of numbers and letters might just be place holders, in the off chance the track title is a spoiler for the game.

As long as I have many Sawano's albums, I hope that this time he won't combine some shorter tracks with others (half for half). Some of his pieces are very good but suddenly, in about half of the length of it, next track (much worse) starts playing and it ruins all...It is applied only in music compositions, not in vocal ones...I was calm about it when they announced 90 tracks in this ost but I am a little bit frightened now (from 90 to 55). Let's hope that this ost will surpass all from the past!

The thing is Hiroyuki usually has a lot of tracks where it's a 2 songs in 1 kind of deal. This is usually always the case except when it comes to his vocal songs. So even if there supposed to be 90 tracks that means they might just be condensed into a smaller tracklist. Now this might change since video game soundtracks don't usually do that sort of thing but since it's Hiroyuki I have a strong feeling it will.

That soundtrack sampler made me a lot more excited for the soundtrack.
