Full Digital Gamerip - Over 6 Hours, 270 Tracks
Composed by Hajime Wakai and Ryo Nagamatsu, Using Melodies First Written by Koji Kondo, Kazumi Totaka, etc.

Here's the full lossless soundtrack from the disc! The files are courtesy of crediar, but were converted, ordered, and tagged by VGManiac456 and myself. You won't find this anywhere else on the net!

For those who want my usual MP3 format, check my sig for the link to my MP3 thread!

Enjoy! :)

Awesome, thanks you very much! Finally a full Nintendo Land soundtrack! I hope this is the beginning of a lot more Wii U rips to come, like Game & Wario, Pikmin 3, Mario Kart 8, Zelda Wind Waker HD... :D

However I think I'll wait for the mp3 version, almost 3GBs is too much for my internet connection. :)

Thanks for putting this available, but there are problems with many tracks. One example is "Norfair". When I play it in MediaMonkey, there's very loud noise in all of it. When I open it in audacity, it seems the stereo channels are double, like two times the left and right channels. Also they are all set to "mono" while they should be separated...

Should I make corrections to the songs and come back to you with an updated set?

(I ran in those same problems while making my Hyrule Warriors soundtrack with crediar's rips)

Also, deleting the doubled streams may reduce total file size.

Also, Monita's Theme (The first song) has two variations in stereo in the same file (Normal and 8bit, each with Left and Right channels but are all set to mono). This makes it all clip very often. I'm starting to separate them and set the proper left and right channels here. If you all want it, I'll upload after I'm done. But thank you so much for tagging them!

Take a listen for yourself:

Monita's Theme (The one untouched from this download, with 4 channels in mono)

I'm currently in the process of fixing, but 270 songs with a lot of them needing this kind of edit. It'll take some time...

Have fun and thanks for posting!

Wow. I had NO IDEA these were 4 channel! That's insane. If you'd like to upload them once you're done or PM me with a link, I'll re-integrate them to the album and give you proper credit. I suppose this means I'll need to remake the mp3 version too. Whew! So much work for just one game!

EDIT: You wanna take tracks 1-135 and I'll take the back half?

Some of the tracks play different songs from what they're titled (on mp3 at least), ex: Lost woods plays the introduction theme, title theme plays ganon part 1, etc...

I've advanced quite a lot and while not finished, I have more than 60 new songs or variations extracted from your files... But I have a question, did you just straight took the ripped files, converted to flac, and tagged them? Or did you use concatenation to make those medleys (Are they native or did you make them)?

Also when I'll be done, I'll send you all my files but I fear you'll have to painstakingly recheck all the names because quite a bit of songs are not what their title says... As to my naming scheme, I've reused your provided filenames and added minimal distinction like V1, V2 (most levels songs have 3-4 variations in each) or Normal/Alt... But I'm not familiar with all of the game's soundtrack so you should rename them appropriately (If they are the variation in a cave, in first position etc...)

@Rygar

Can you list the songs which do not have the right music and perhaps provide a list with the good names so we can change it for the next version of the soundtrack? Thank you so much on OP's and my behalf!

Thanks for that soundtrack, but i believe i wait for a "Version 2" of this.
I converted myself "Theme of Monita" myself with dbpoweramp and channel mappers to stereo, but now the 8-Bit version and the normal version are putted together.
Sounds not bad, but not okay, they need to be seperated like what Twilight One did.

Meanwhile, if you can list the songs that are misnamed so we can change them faster it would save time before the Version 2. Thank you! :D

OK guys, I'm going to take this link down until we get this sorted out... it shouldn't take too long... Twilight One has been a HUGE help! If anyone DOES have a list of misnamed/ switched tracks that I could start with, it would greatly speed up the process!

Thanks, and sorry for the inconvenience!

Many thanks, always thought this game had a neat mix of music. One thing I didn't see was the disc loading music -- that is, the music played immediately after selecting the game from the WiiU menu during initial loading. Hate to be a "thanks, but" guy, but any chance that track is hiding somewhere?

ruiner9

I actually DO have the source file of that track, but it's in a different format from the other music, and I haven't found a way to convert it. Twilight One, I believe the file is called "lunch.bnr" (which is a misspell of "launch.bnr,"), I know in Hyrule Warriors it was just the "secret found" jingle, but did you have any luck in decoding that?

I haven't tried the .bnr format but hopefully VgmStream in compatible with it now. So yeah if we can decode it nicely we'll put it in the soundtrack. Reminds me I haven't put the channel menu jingle of Hyrule Warriors in my soundtrack... Oh well!

But ruiner9, the filenames are better, but the tags aren't synced to that. I'll be working on that later today. I'll upload my work for you to review and hopefully we can put an MP3 version soon enough!

I tried it with VGMStream for both WinAmp and Foobar, and it wouldn't play in either. Tried importing as RAW in Audacity, too. Bummer! I did as well as I could with the names, but not currently having the game to play, I was kind of stuck. I REALLY regret trading it in after I completed everything now!

But have you used the "test.exe" to decode straight to wav without external players like Foobar, Winamp...?

the same plugin is used in both foobar and winamp, so I don't think doing it via command would work any better. keep in mind that these new formats are still not 100% supported.

ruiner9
11-03-2014, 10:07 PM
Still, it might be worth a shot just to rule out issues with the plugins. I'm not expecting it to work, but you can't win if you don't play, as they say.

dissident93
11-03-2014, 10:26 PM
seems like you need to extract from .bnr files to get something playable in vgmstream. I found some instructions here. (http://hcs64.com/mboard/forum.php?showthread=17363)

ruiner9
11-04-2014, 12:13 PM
I was thinking too much of the Wii... it wasn't a .bnr file, it was a .bsfar file! I figured out how to extract THAT, and now I'm left with 1,461 audio files, including all the sound effects from the game, and a bunch of short songs, all under 1 minute long.

But no intro tune.

MagnetMan34

So how is this going?

Thank you! The tracklist looks good enough btw :)

One thing though is that track 303 is a duplicate of track 304, Barren Land. Also, those track names (from 304 to 309 I think?) seem to be a little mixed up (308 can't be the Boss Battle theme for example). I think the names are one place ahead of their respective song (305 is "Barrel Land - Enemies", 306 is "Greater Bladed Baub Appears" and so on).

Also, aren't tracks 1 and 2 the "Attraction Selection Menu" and the "Nintendo Land Plaza" themes respectively? (Please someone correct this if it's wrong)

ruiner9
11-10-2014, 07:55 PM
See, that's the thing. The tags are good, but there's still a lot of mixed-up tracks. I'm not familiar enough with some o the tunes to know what goes where, so I'm just looking for tweaks to the list to get everything 100% accurate.

Since no one's done anything about tag corrections, I'm gonna try to skim through it with some friends and see if I can put up a more accurate tracklist. I'm going to do what I can on my own tonight, but given how long since I've played Nintendo Land (not to mention that I haven't fully completed the game yet), I'm not sure how much it'll be.

Another correction, a bit large.
I believe the whole soundtrack was composed solely by Ryo Nagamatsu. He's the only one listed in the credits.
Further proof here (and it provides the sources in the page too):
VGMO -Video Game Music Online- Ryo Nagamatsu Profile (http://www.vgmonline.net/ryonagamatsu/)
And here's the actual credits from the game:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KiorYbae6AU

Hajime Wakai was involved in the project, but just as the sound director.
