Ergo thanks to the first uploader whoever that might be. I split the original .cue files with CUETools myself and are the source for almost all the tracks.

Additional credits go to FirebrandX (FirebrandX 's Web Site (http://www.firebrandx.com/)) for ripping and mixing track 1-02 & 2-04 from his Silent Hill 1, 2 & 3 "Complete Soundtrack Ultimate Edition" lossless releases which are the two 48000 Hz tracks and were missing from the original CD releases. Without FirebrandX this release would not have been possible, and if if he reads this I want to stress that he is free to inform me if he does not want his tracks included/this release be uploaded at all. If this is the case I shall remove the download links as soon as possible with no hard feelings.

Lastly the artist who upload the background artwork to DeviantArt also deserves a thanks as I did not make it myself, but for the life of me I cannot find the original artist's name. All I know is that it was signed "Sweet Crescent".



I am fully aware the artwork looks deplorable and all it has going for it is high resolution. Cover art is definitely not my strong suit. It would be great if someone talented could create some high resolution alternatives.*

Also, there are still three other unreleased tracks from Silent Hill 4: The Room not included in this release (specified in the "Silent Hill, The Complete Motion Picture Score (Missing Tracks)" .odt file). Let us hope FirebrandX ever gets around ripping and mixing the fourth game for a similar ultimate edition. I am uncertain whether I will still be around to see this happening and update this thread.

The tracks are separated into two discs in order to fit on two regular CDs (those who do--take note the tracks by FirebrandX are 48000 Hz, instead of 44100).

Argh, I just found out my Silent Hill Sounds Box was tagged incorrectly with every track being one off from the last track of disc three onwards. So not only did I have to re-tag that entire album, I also had to redo this release. The songs that were wrong on this release because of it were 1-06 and 1-23. So not only the tags were wrong on those two--the entire songs were never featured in the movie to begin with.

So a new archive is being uploaded. This archive will have correct songs, correct tags, a custom extended version of "Promise (Reprise)", correct back cover, and all songs are encoded with the newest more efficient libFLAC1.3.1.

Weird how no one else caught up on this by the way. Figured some Silent Hill die-hards would instantly spot those two tracks not being featured in the movie and being labeled wrong. But it is of course entirely my mistake.

Roughly two hours until the archive is done uploading.
