For me... they are the best along with their third partner, Stromberg's wife. (His brother's emerged as a good director.) One of the things that is best about their Steiner resurrections is how the ones on their own terrific label ("Tribute" is an understatement) made me think of how brilliantly they restored and recorded this "King Kong". It's such a great understanding for so much of what emerged so suddenly and brilliantly in Steiner then.

So... um, yes. I would looooooooooooooooooooooooove your restoration of their restoration of something that not only changed so many films but a heck of a lot of lives over so many generations.

If the links are around, I promise to download 'em and take em' up the elevator to the top of the Empire State Building to be - with the music - with Steiner's own King Kong.
