In "Hannie Caulder," an offbeat western from 1971, Rachel Welch stars as a strong-willed (yet sexy) woman of the Old West who learns to be a gunfighter so she can take revenge on 3 outlaws who raped her and murdered her husband. "Hunchback of Notre Dame" was another version of the famous Victor Hugo novel, this time for TV in 1982 and with Anthony Hopkins playing Quasimodo, the disfigured bell-ringer at Notre Dame Cathedral who falls for a beautiful gypsy and must rescue her from the stake when she's mistaken for a witch.

As you'd guess, Ken Thorne provided 2 entirely different types of score: "Hannie Caulder" captures the flavor of the American West, while "Hunchback", with its period instruments, has a more historical sound. Both scores are presented in MONO.

28 tracks totaling about 64 minutes.
Promo on the Prometheus Label (as Film Music of Ken Thorne Volume 1)

Been after Hannie Caulder for some time now. Many thanks for this, and
I never realised that the great Anthony Hopkins had ever played Quasi.
This for me is a rare set.
Again many thanks for sharing.

Thank you for the share, I haven't got many scores by Ken Thorne so here I'll have something new to try.
