Despite Bayonetta 2 being overly hyped in the west the game has flunked in Japan and yet again another Platinum Games' title with low sales. Platinum Games' makes spectacular games but their titles are undersold sadly.

It's not just Platinum Games that lost money but Nintendo primarily because they were the ones who funded Bayonetta 2 first of all.

Aside all this negativeness, I've got my Bayonetta 2: Special Edition on pre-order. ^_^

According to sales data, Bayonetta 2 was released the day before the top sales chart have been finalized. In other words, it's not a full week yet for Bayonetta 2. Just wait until we get the full week status of Nintendo/Platinum Games' sequel this Wednesday morning.


My apologies for going off-topic, here's the link on the REAL truth about video game "tabloid" sites spreading lies on Bayonetta 2 sales since Nintendo is the only publisher funding the game while SEGA (copyright owner of the IP) nearly cancelled the project and Sony & Microsoft says no to the offer.
