it's about a former assassin(Hitokiri Battousai) and how he tries to reform after *SPOILER* killing the one he loved the most. He meets up with a woman named Kamiya Kaoru and lives with her and meets new friends and fights people in samurai battles and stuff, I prefer the manga to the anime because the anime was cancelled before the series ever finished.

Samurai X is just a stupid name ADV gave to the Rurouni Kenshin OVAs when they released them in North America.

yeah the anime still good, but the manga is much better in my opinion, the anime was cancelled before it could even start the last saga...

nope! it's hard to come by in the uk (and anime is) so i've never read manga before, read comics and i've seen a manga book in my art class, but i wasn't allowed to flick through the pages because there was certain 'Iniproprite' stuffs in it, so....i only saw page and it was this weird girl with a cross-bow shooting at something

It applies to most Anime which originally comes from Manga, they ruin your image of original manga, which I really hate.

That movie wasn't as good as i thought it would be *shrinks away* (sorry guys!)

the movie is supposed to be what happens after the shows "Samurai X reflection" Kenshin is about 40 and kaoru...u figure it out. and i think it is just what happens after but in the shows it doesn't show him dying.

In the manga, the last book of RK is about five years after the Jinncu(sp?) Arc. K+K are married and have one son named Kenji.

This is what I have been told anyway. Though my resource may not be 100%, there is a good chance that I am correct.

OMG!!! i was like getting bubbly over that (i really am a wuss >.<) but that's soooo sad! if i'd seen the anime and saw that, i would have cried yup!

How about, my older brother and I were playing it (I'm the stratigist(sp?) and he's the monster killer(muahahaha!) he's passed on the gaming skills to me tho!) and I watched it with teary eyes. After he started to fade I practically sobbed. My brother turned to me and goes, "You freakin' baby, he's not real..."

I said, "It doesn't matter! Yuna loves him and he died! HE DIED!"

Neo (his computer name) says, "He'll come back, just you wait... I hear they're comming out with a ten-2"

I love my brother... he can be... sweet... sometimes...

I don't like VIZ, they care about money more than they do about readers. They make to many mistake that are SO visable that even a DISABLED PERSON can spot them. That's why I only got volume 1 of One Piece... "sob".

Viz is a manga publication company, they take certian manga (most of them are manga that have been shown as anime from FUNimation.Ltd) and put them in english format (sometime they take some manga like Tenchi Muyo, and of instead of putting them to a "read right to left" format they change it to a "read left to right" format).

Both are pretty okay... Anime is longer, but kinda gay, Manga is good but only 28 or so books... I'm finding that after I've read the books the anime is stupid. They add more and take away more...

I was once told that reading the orginal story is better than watching the the movie or series, but I perfer animation better.

Toriyama didn't sell his creation to them, Toei Animation asked his premission to start another series, since DragonBall Z was such a hit anime in Japan.

But he gave them permission... So if it was a flop then it would be his fault, sorta. If he didn't think that their idea was good he wouldn't have said yes. And if he hadn't said yes and they did it anyway, they would have been arrested. That is, if he pressed charges. So, Blood Angel was right. And I don't think she was saying that he did sell it...

Well you are right, Toriyama should of thought that over BEFORE letting Toei Animation make a new series without much of his help. Besides, after Toriyama ended the DragonBall series, he wanted to settle down with his family. I wouldn't let them take over MY cartoon without supervision!

Then make an awesome cartoon and make sure they want to make another series w/out your help and go "Nyah Nyah!" in their faces!!!
