What if square enix made a "first person shooter" (depends, coz maybe you can use swords and guns) then you have RPG elements added on, then each other player is controlled by either you, your friend or computer. Wount that feel kewl? you can control and feel like one of the characters... would you want to buy this game or would it flop?

Err, that last statement is false. Might and Magic VI and VII are both very good first person RPGs, as is Wizards and Warriors. Sure those games a few years old but they are still loads of fun, I'd rather play those than Morrowind to be honest.

Final Fantasy XI lets you switch back and forth between first and third person view and that's probably the best your going to get as far as a first person Final Fantasy is concerned.

Still, the whole game would be very Morrowind / Might and Magic-esque.
