How many of you can enjoy final fantasy, when other people are in the room talking to you, or reading over your shoulder?

I refuse to play if anyone is in the room, and I think thats weird. I need to concentrate fully on what I'm doing, and whats happening, or else I cant enjoy the game! I must be alone, and I havn't met anyone like that!

usually I can play a final fantasy game with other people, but when I'm doing somethin challenging like the cloister of trials in ff10, then i need 100% concentration, especially the one in Bevelle. and when I'm fighting a tough boss.

I always play it in my room so I have no trouble.

Things like that, I don't play unless I'm alone. I wouldm't play it around friends cuz I'd be doing something else with them. And my family doesn't bother me that much, so I'm mostly alone when I play it anyway.

I can't enjoy any RPG around other people, my friends are cunts and talk over the story.

My friends pester me when i play like how can a ball (blitzball) hurt a machine and make fun cuz its final fantasy so i alwalys play alone i cant enjoy story if others around

The same here. I don't play around friends, this wouldn't be nice. I only do, if they want to see parts of it. If so, I just show them a few things, that's it. It is not like I am really playing the game then. ;)

I could play it with people watching, as long as they like Final Fantasy or they're helping me or I'm helping them. But I have some exceptions:

I had that happen to me before in front of my brother, his friend, my friend (they are related, weird huh?) and I started to cry... it was sooo embarassing! but I told them it was my allergies..

I would only play FF with other people in the room if they like FF. If they don't know shit about it, then I'm playing it alone!

Whenever i want to be alone, I just walk the character into a town, and walk, and walk... Then, the people in the room run away. But what bugs me is that sometimes people ask what I have to do, and when I'm playing a game like ffX, they want to know about the sphere grid, so I pause the game and explain. And ten minutes later they ask about something else! Can't someone play a game in peace, people?!

i did that when my sister was playing i already knew what it was... but hey i gotta do something to make me laugh every now and then...

This wouldn't really bother me unless the people were total cunts

I would only play final fantasy with people who liked it and understood it or i would play alone in my room.I hate when people ask wats it about they just keep askin questions.Also i haet wen im reading parts of the story and people also talk and stuff its hard to really consintrate then.

Same Here, Battle's Are Just Fine, I Even Had The Battles On Two Player's In Final Fantasy IX, So My Friend Could Play. But Then, The Story ... That's A Different Story ... ^_^

I dont mind if some1 is reading over my shoulders but when some1 is talking 2 me i just dont play it until their gone

It doesnt bother me too much. but if some1 is talking to me & i want to play the game in peace, i pause the game & push them out of the room & make them leave me be. then i go back to the game & im happy ^_^

As much as possible, I dont want people around whenever im playing, especially if they're noisy because I cant concentrate. I prefer to play alone. Besides, my sibs and cousins hate ff cos they find it boring so whenever they see me play it, they'd just walk away and do other stuff :)

I don't mind - generally anyone watching me play a FF game goes off to do something else pretty quickly anyway. FF doesn't make for the most interesting viewing.

Mind you, all-nighters with mates when a new FF comes out have become pretty common - the first time I ever played FF was swapping controllers with a mate working our way through Midgar in FF7.
