where are blue mages from? i read about it a few days ago and i have no clue where they from so can anyone tell me where?

I think they started as a job class in either FF3 or FF5 - can't remember which, exactly. They're the 'Enemy Skill' magic group - like in FF8, when Quistis learns the skill 'Blue Magic', she can learn enemy attacks.
