This is a rip from the Japan-only e-capcom Limited Edition of these games' re-release for PS3. I have been waiting a long time to see if there was interest in this or if anyone else would upload it, but given time I am giving a little back to the community in what silly way I can. For the many I have seen asking, excuse the wait, and any error as this is a poor man's rip from my personal copy. If there is any interest, I will upload scans of the case, liner notes and the discs themselves; they are all quite handsome. Ripped in EAC for FLAC, I have manually done all the metadata myself in Winamp (I am from the stone age) with the help of the VGMDb entry to spare me arduous hours over a dictionary, so please excuse any odd formatting or mistakes - I tried to be thorough! The music is very well mastered, and should be of interest to anyone who likes fantasy or RPG style music of the 90s.

Tower of Doom from 1993 and Shadow Over Mystara from 1996 are a pair of arcade beat 'em up titles that absolutely shine at the head of their genre. They expanded upon old Capcom titles in the tradition of The King of Dragons and Knights of the Round, and would later lead to inspire many titles, with its talent meeting together again in Vanillaware. They are gems of games and I absolutely recommend them if you ever have the chance to play them. While they were recently brought to eShop, PSN, LIVE, and Steam, I believe Iron Galaxy, the company that localized them here, did not do them justice; the Japanese Capcom-done version of the game is a spectacular celebration of the arcade experience, with other extras (http://i.imgur.com/E8LzTIr.jpg">settings</a> to simulate Smudging, Flicker, Scanlines, and even Crosscolour (desync). Where the Iron Galaxy release had achievements and an awkward view either squished between side-bars or in a miniaturized cabinet, the Capcom had varieties of <a href="http://i.imgur.com/zu9iAST.jpg">game</a>, <a href="http://i.imgur.com/hJDOkvk.jpg">screen</a>, and sound options, cosmetic <a href="http://i.imgur.com/9kKfhOJ.jpg">palette options</a>, and <a href="http://i.imgur.com/ICNoVJh.jpg). They both deserve credit for having gallery options, but the Iron Galaxy release includes many art which are from Wizards of the Coast publications rather than anything concerning the games in specific, while the Japanese release is more on-task and very thorough, with very high resolution scans to look at. It is great to see these games get recognition again in a very long time, and they are wonderful memories to share. I am happy for Iron Galaxy's work, but I encourage fans of the game to support the Capcom version and import if you are interested in seeing a beautiful rejuvenation of two of the best arcade cabinets of their time. Please support 2D for beautiful art and imagination! Support physical releases to preserve artistry and quality in gaming! Above all, enjoy the music!

I believe the JP release uses some kind of internal emu/port engine that Vampire and Street Fighter Alpha collection for PS2 also used (which were really good).
