This was the last score of Mr. Friedhofer for the movies offering him the opportunity to compose for a Horror film. Judging from the samples, the music has a poisonous and captivating beauty. It is very unfortunate that he did not get more chances to express his talent and science of orchestration in this genre.
Beautiful cover. I think the last hairy hand on the right will succeed in grabbing the rest of her dress. ;-) PM sent.

I'm just curious what does Hugo Friedhofer's score sound like in the seventies, after hearing his works form the 40s up to the fifties.
