Hello, Creedmoor,

This is a great soundtrack, one of my favourites, I like the movie itself but the music is marvellous, especially the main title.

Thank again for sharing this score with us.

This is Sirk's unsurpassable melodramatic satire and at the time of its release, Universal Pictures biggest grosser. I marvel at the way Sirk and DP Russell Metty use light and color to hold the schmaltz together. And if Mahalia Jackson belting out Trouble With the World as they lay sweet Annie to rest (SPOILER ALERT!) doesn't move you, nothing will.

Douglas Sirk's melodramas were very popular in Greece.
Especially "All That Heaven Allows" and "Imitation of Life" met enormous success.
Thank you very much for the "Douglas Sirk steak", my friend.
