suggest some =)

you should listen to:
Polish Techno - Eurodance 2000 (this is a song, not an album, oddly enough!)
And One - Panzermensch
Die Fantastischen Vier - Die Da?!

Uh... the only thing I can think of is "Como La Flor" by Darlington, but I don't know if it's all that silly since I don't know what the words mean! But it's silly-sounding punk-pop.

I bet rezo could post some good songs in this thread though! HINT HINT.

I know of one great one in particular. I'll put it up tomorrow since it's my roommates.

Unfortunately the CDs I lost happened to have most of the songs I would have put in this topic =\

but while I'm being depressed about losing some of my favorite CDs, you can listen to Shopping A to Z! (http://ribaldyouth.com/mp3/(%8e%c2%8c%b4%82%c6%82%e0%82%a6)%20MEGAPHONE%20SPE AKS%20%5b02%5d%20Shopping%20A%81%a8Z.mp3)

Silly songs not in english?
Just about any wierd Japanese song that sounds cool but is actually talking about candy, finding keys, or something like that. Its really silly when you see the music videos.
(I am not making light of Japanese songs in general, just the ones that make no sense.)

Well I know many swedish songs. I found one song from the early 70's where a guy manages to overcome many difficulties in life, just by using a yoyo. He avoids his boss's anger, slips through the customs and doesn't have to do the conscript... Anyways, it's called Min Jojo and is made by Jigs!

Uppsala is kind of fun, but I guess they aren't really silly.

The German Techno remix of the Sailor Moon theme was pretty funny.

I'd like to listen to some old Indian rock n' roll, ala Jaan Pehechaan Ho, but I don't even know where to start looking for it.

Tom Waits - Kommienezuspadt

It's on the album Alice. He barks out gibberish (or perhaps another language? german? I dunno) and it makes me happy.

It may not be rock n' roll, but it's still pretty neat (http://ribaldyouth.com/mp3/Kamaal%20Khan%20-%20O%20Oh%20Jane%20Jana.mp3).

Apparently it's from a movie soundtrack, so I want to see the elaborate dance sequence that surely goes along with it.

I would like to think that that is what "Janejana," the DDR song, is a remix of, but from listening to this, it appears I am incorrect. T_T

Drunken Tiger-My Final Fantasy, this song isn't funny, but it takes Cosmo Canyon and adds Korean rap, it's pretty good.
