Summary
Legends tell of a man known as the God Hunter who bore a fateful sword and struck down the tyrannical gods who punished humans for their wrongdoings. In the present, a boy named Yorn puts little faith into such myths - until one day, he suddenly develops great powers and receives a mighty sword, just like the legends of old. What's more is that the leaders of the Edens - two floating islands in the sky - are after a current-day God Hunter; and their target appears to be Yorn himself. Yorn flees the Edens with a mysterious girl named Elisiss whom he has sworn to protect; but Elisiss hides a great secret and her true identity may be too much to bear. Can Yorn and Elisiss escape the powers of the sky, and will Yorn be able to resist his terrible destiny?
