Fabulous scores and songs and the sound is astonishingly good. Marlene Dietrich's haunting 'The Blue Angel' is probably the most famous outside Germany. The label says the music is from 1900 but the films appear to date from the end of WWI to the end of WWII. Many thanks Vareche for sharing.

Ich liebe UFA!

I do love those silent german films, not to get into political territory but I wonder what would happened with german cinema without the nazis, we'd probably be talking about the greatest movies the world had seen, and without the german and central european refugees hollywood would've been a diffenret place as well
