Jerry Goldsmith - Along Came a Spider (Expanded) 20tracks NOW IN FLAC


olafolaf's 20 track version is the real thing! - no sound effects, this are the real music tracks, and with just under 60mins
this is like a Varese Deluxe CD Edition.
olafolaf's 320 kps version had some digital defects on some tracks (clicks and distortion) but the FLAC version is perfect without any defects.
So the FLAC version is the best Complete/Expanded version you can get of Goldsmith's score until an official CD release becomes reality.

Sure. At least we will know more about the 25 track version and can compare it and perhaps if were lucky mp3tag will uncover some "secrets". The last tracks of the version I provide here has some distortions almost like master tapes, while 18 of the tracks here are totally fine.

Tracks 1-20 are Spider. The other "bonus tracks" are from various other scores. It could be the tracks here are the same and someone just grafted the 'bonus" stuff to it.

Tracks 1-20 match exactly to the set you posted here. Track 21 may be a suite or something, but it is not part of the numbered list. The 17 track album is listed in most archives I see as 'complete" btw....

if you look at soundtrackcollectors.com (http://soundtrackcollector.com/title/10811/Along+Came+A+Spider) you'll see that the actual score is only 20 tracks. the rest are random music selections.

Right. But Olaf's has distortions. That is why the 25 track is a boot, and may not even exist at a high rate, anything could be a transcode. And the Morgan Record name is obviously a home-made boot name label, riffing off of Morgan Freeman, I think. As such this link may not actually be allowed? I guess we will see. So here it is for what it is worth.

I honestly have no idea. I tried to backtrack the uploaded file to the site it originated from, but to no avail.
Google image(!) search is one of the best ways to do it btw, i discovered blogs and forums this way I wouldn't have otherwise.

BTW. If anyone can read Russian, i can't and therefore not create an account but rutracker.org seems to have a lot of rare stuff.

I've got an account there - luckily Google Chrome translates the pages for me - although sometimes it doesn't work. I checked there and could only find the retail release for this.

Anything included on the boot that is not found on the Varese album was ripped from the DVD; the sfx sorta gives it away.
