Easier to read, still disgusting.

NOTE:
This is my contribution to those Fans of, and My Tribute to Hunter S. Thompson, The great Doctor of Gonzo Journalism and writing style.
His memory will live on for years to come, especially for those who knew him personally. This Movie captures the spirit and style of
his life during the close of an era that will never be seen again, and the music of a culture during a time of freedom and conflict, and
attitudes that haven't changed since, but only those who play the roles and bring in an ever changing culture with the lack of a sense
of freedom. May the real American Dream ever be sought after by those who still believe in freedom! Raoul Duke lives on in Spirit!

You didn't think I would leave this out did you? If the pigs are gathering in
Vegas, I thought the Drug Culture should be represented too, why not?
move confidently into their midst.

It's "The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test" all over again!

Neat.

Is it all remastered or just the new content?
Any linear notes on the remastering?

I really didn't put any notes on the remastering, just credits, but yes it's the extra content with the Drug Scores and Dialog and everything remastered. And this is one of my all time favorite Movies, and my favorite with Depp.
I read Fear And Loathing not to long after it came out, and I was blown away at the style and story which was based on actual events. I was a huge fan ever since. In fact I where those exact Aviator Shooter Glasses and have used a cigarette holder since 1980 ish. even have the Hats and the Tan jacket, but haven't found any Acapulco shirts here where I live. Not much to choose from here in Virginia. I'm sure I could order some possibly.

I threw it into the water, and watched him thrash and twitch, and the screaming and moaning, quite hilarious since the chord was not plugged into the socket. Good thing it was a rental. I was tired and needed some sleep anyhow. Looks like I'm going to have to upload the last file tonight. My connection is slow. It reminded me of the U.S. Congress debating on whether to pass a spending budget, or whether to use the money for buying votes, or to just take a vacation, as they've been doing for the past half century. The American people are too busy watching modern gladiators playing sports, or the lame stale over done nightclub jokes of the modern day sitcoms. Not to mention the same old cop or government agent shows that have been running for decades on end with the over done plots. Maybe if the American people vote in a whole new Government we'll get some decent T.V. programming, I doubt that very much! But what we do need is some serious clown action programming, with mimes, a metaphor of societies involvement in getting better clowns to keep our Country in the right direction. Wait, I think we have to much of that now. Could be the new reality show line-up. But what are all those Mexican jumping beans all over the the background doing there?

When I heard the Movie was coming out, knowing the Story, I thought I hope they do the Book justice this time. After seeing it I thought someone finally got it right! After that farce "Where The Buffalo Roam" A Bill Murry Movie, that resembled nothing of the Spirit of Hunter Thompson, but more of a "The Drunken Antics Of Bill Murry" and the sad portrayal of Oscar Zeta Acosta by Peter Boyle, though the Movie was funny in it's own way as a Bill Murry Movie. Yes, Terry got it right! Of course more thought and thoughtfulness went into sticking more to the actual Story and portrayal of Thompson and Acosta. I have to say that Depp and Del Torro really did an excellent job too. The whole Movie did that, nailed it!

---------- Post added at 11:44 PM ---------- Previous post was at 11:14 PM ----------

Thank God Terry Gilliam did it before Tim Burton and Danny Elfman played a bid on it. It would have been a "Nightmare On Vegas Strip" not to mention what it would have done to the Drug Culture! We'd all be on Prozac. I think some are just from thinking about it.

P.S.
Sorry if that thought screwed you up too.

I just wanted to thank you AGAIN !!!
My eyes are bleeding from the awesomeness of the artwork
To me you have captured the essence of Hunter and the genius of Terry .
Question ...Do the dialogue excerpts [ i have the official one ] go in the same places [ i'm hoping the order is the same ] ?
Hope you had or are having or will have a great day

I'm definetly looking 4ward to that !!!!!!
Hope you are having a great day coz you have just made mine brighter [ which compensates for the vanilla sky we are experiencing instead of the azure blue / chemtrail free / minimumly cloudy sunny days we were having [ although sporadically ]
