Line-in rip sounds nice, but it would be better if it was 320kbps. A gamerip would be even better though. (!!!!!, if you're there; you know what to do!)

Thanks. My friend put a lot of work into it. He's never done anything like it before.
Just don't downright play him down by mentioning another individual to do a job that is already done. If he does decide to do it, than I'll get in contact with him so he can give me the files. Originally the Gates To Infinity "project" was meant for an online MMORPG called Pokemon Mystery Universe and since we sadly don't have composers at the time, my friend decided he would make the rip. I than said I'd tag, and upload to the internet including the other soundtracks in this thread. So, if this is the case and he does do a gamerip, I will talk to him. Thanks for your time. Enjoy the music~

Awesome! Thanks for this

PS: I was just wondering what the difference between PMD Red and Blue was in terms of soundtrack?

Different samples. DS samples sound more "smoother" but certain songs sound better with the other soundfont and others sound almost the same.

Compared to the GBA, the DS also had better use of instrument choice and channels. More channels and better quality.
I do however, enjoy the GBA Red Rescue Team soundtrack because it had the 8 bit sounds which added a little more to some songs.

Thank you (and especially your friend) so much for providing this OST! I actually signed up just to get it from here since nobody else seems to have the Blue version with improved sound quality anywhere.

Though while everything is done quite beautifully, there are a few tracks missing. When compared to the Red OST I've had since before there are 14 fewer tracks in this Blue collection, and they include post-game Friend Areas, Rayquaza's Domain and also the Dream Eater sequence. Maybe the Friend Areas are what you referred to as WiiWare, but I'm quite sure it's possible to access them anyway since the data is built into the game and can be unlocked by entering WonderMail codes found online into the game from the main menu.
They are all short and more like ambiance than actual pieces of music, but if your friend is a completionist he might want to include those in a new version.

Nevertheless, thank you both so much for them!

The only soundtrack my friend had helped with is Gates to Infinity.
For Blue Rescue Team, I actually noticed that too but that's the way I got it from.. let's just say a long time ago. I've had the soundtrack with me for a long time, and nothing was altered expect for the tags. Perhaps I deleted them by mistake, I dunno. Nevertheless, my apologizes and I hope you enjoy ^^

Is the Explorers of Sky soundtrack the same line-in rip that's been circulating since the game came out?

The Explorers of Sky soundtrack is not line in, it was taken taken directly from the music files. The only line-in soundtrack in this thread is Gates to Infinity. The others are taken directly from their in-game music files. :)

I've never played these games, but after seeing a few of their songs nominated for a "Best VGM" contest elsewhere, I decided to check out the soundtracks on Youtube, and thought they were really well done. It's a shame none of them ever saw an official release (?), but finding all of the rips in one place here is extremely helpful. I went ahead and downloaded all four, so thanks very much ^_^

AxemBlue -> Unfortunately Nintendo didn't publish officially soundtracks of Dungeon Mystery games. A day maybe?

How could the Explorers of Sky rip be taken directly from the music files? They are in a non-standard format, I have been looking everywhere for a way to decode them.

Also I found the original music files from Gates to Infinity online and converted them.
* I discovered some tracks not included here which I believe are unused:
https://mega.co.nz/#!X5AkADyD!-jmHp5iaAhAFeuiTjSXoQm8w5VLUnNVVbkpUPN3ype8
I renamed them according to my speculation and their internal filename.
Note: The original sample rate of all the music is only 24kHz, so the max bitrate possible with mp3 is 160kbps.

It doesn't have the errors the most circulated rip does, but I'm fairly certain this is another line-out rip.

Great news! The Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon soundtrack is now up for grabs. I'll be updating the quality a little later but here is a temporary 160kb/s, 44100 Hz soundtrack that is fully tagged and ready to be heard by your ears. I hope you enjoy.

Sadly most of them are in 24000 Hz right...? so edit to 44000 HZ will not change a lot for the quality
