Anyone know if this soundtrack exists? I know there was a 1977 The Hobbit album produced and was wondering if 1980's animated Return of the King has had a release.

There was an LP release, but I don't think there's ever been a CD. At least, there isn't one listed at soundtrackcollector.com and I've never seen this soundtrack posted anywhere online unfortunately.

Thanks for the reply. Pity. There's a piece of score in that RotK where Maury Laws really shines its when Samwise is tempted by the ring and imagines himself as a great hero that brings peace to all the lands.
