I'm using Foobar2000 to try to convert AT3 files to MP3 and every time I do I get this:

1 out of 1 tracks converted with major problems.

Source: "C:\Users\Zeether\Music\Kidou Senshi Gundam - Extreme VS (2011-12-01)(-)(Bandai Namco)\BGM21.AT3"
An error occurred while writing to file (The encoder has terminated prematurely with code 1 (0x00000001); please re-check parameters) : "C:\Users\Zeether\Music\Kidou Senshi Gundam - Extreme VS (2011-12-01)(-)(Bandai Namco)\BGM21.mp3"
Additional information:
Encoder stream format: 48000Hz / 6ch / 16bps
Command line: "C:\Users\Zeether\Documents\lame3.99.5\lame.exe" -S --noreplaygain -V 4 - "BGM21.mp3"
Working folder: C:\Users\Zeether\Music\Kidou Senshi Gundam - Extreme VS (2011-12-01)(-)(Bandai Namco)\

Conversion failed: The encoder has terminated prematurely with code 1 (0x00000001); please re-check parameters

What am I doing wrong? I can't even convert it to another format and then to MP3 because I get the same exact error every single time. OGG, WAV, etc do fine but somehow it hates MP3. I read it was some DSP thing but I don't know if that's the case here.

My guess is that you don't have LAME in the directory specified. It doesn't come by default with FooBar, so you have to manually install it. Another thing to try is to go to .OGG or .WAV, and then drop the resulting files into WinFF (http://winff.org/). That SHOULD do the trick, but I can't guarantee it...

I have LAME in the correct directory since it will convert anything else. I will attempt the WinFF thing, thanks.

EDIT: WinFF worked! I'm not sure what the deal is with foobar, LAME must be weird or something...
