If a Time ripoff is your thing. But honestly, Zimmer mimics so many things so I guess I don't see the big deal. I do like the piece.


Anyone want my custom made piece for the teaser trailer? It wasn't released, so I made my own being that I already had the 2 main pieces used. It isn't perfect, but it gets me by...

To be honest, I listened to the score... but I'm not really impressed... The first track is the best.
From all X-Men scores, the Last Stand by Powell is farway the most melodic one.

I have to agree. I very much like the scores to X, X2 and X:FC. But if I had to pick an overall favorite, I think it'd be XIII. As you said, very melodic. I never get tired of the theme for Dark Phoenix... It's beautiful.

I like them all as well, and I'd include Origins and The Wolverine, but those are at the bottom of the list a little :/

What a shame that the theme does more justice to the character than the movie itself though... a lesson on studio meddling and directorial incompetence I guess.
