OH YA! I just beat FFVIII (took FOREVER!!!)

That game is SO hard. It took me about 20 tries to beat Griever (alone). I think Ultimecia is the hardest last boss EVER CREATED.

Well, I beat FF8 a long time ago, so that's why I started playing it again. Anyway, this time playing through was my first time getting Eden and Bahamut and stuff, so it took longer. Right now, I'm still trying to defeat Ultimecia, but I eventually get on the Ragnarok and go to Cactuar Island. Great place for AP, even if those little buggers do run away.

But yeah, the last boss is the hardest. Not the first stage of the boss, that would be Ultimecia, since she's a total wimp. But after you beat Griever it gets a little tougher. I would say it get s /REALLY/ hard for me when you hack off half of the Griever/Ultimecia body. It does like two attacks in a really short time, plus all that magic is a pain in the a**.

to be honest the omega weapon in ultemicias castle is a lot harder i was on it for fourty five minutes he had bout 100000 from his 750000 life left when he unleshed a chain of about 7 atttacks and killed everyone even with selphies wall on

THe first time I fought Ultimecia I was too slow wiht my party and she ended up using that Great Attarcion move on me and killed my party with it. Then my girlfreind gave me advice just to use a good amount of Aura and Shell magic and it would make it easier. Still tough even with that it took a little while before all the battles would end.

I thought Ultimica was easy. None of her forms really challanged me. But If I had to pick the hardest then it would be her last form, just cuz of Hell's Judgment.

I think Ultimecia was really easy. With an Aura on Squall and the Recover command nothing can bring you down!

Her last form was the hardest due to hells judgement but as of griever it was very annoying as they killed all your gfs and it was mean

all of ultamacias forms were easy, i dont no wat you guys are talking about. i didnt need to use aura or soumon gfs repetitavly, just needed to attack and use a lot of megalixars which you can refine from some card. the battle was really easy but it just went for a while (as, in my opinion, all bosses should be(except for the easy part)).

you get the megaelixers from the bahamut card and get 100 elixers from the angelo card

I sort of agree, the final boss took me two attempts, which is the most of any FF I have played. So, ususally in one go, then. And I found it fairly challenging both times.

Hey i played ff8 so many times ( cos it really is the best :) ) but really is easy, for those who find ultimecia or griever hard to beat try gettin laguna card wich refines to 100 heros and the thing is when to use it ;) figure it out ur self. if u pay attention u will see the symbols or warnings of a hell judgement or great attraction. most toughest for me were the weapons

Ultemecia's last form is hard but Omega weapon's the most difficult boss I've encountered in FF8! That enemy is super challenging and my hero drinks have already ran out and i still haven't beaten it! It took me almost an hour and 3 tries before I was finally able to defeat it. Omega owns!

easy way to beat ultimecia in like 10 minutes turn the giglamesh card into 10 holy wars and start the battle by having casting triple on squal having squal cast aura on everyone and then use a holy war and then just limit break ultimecia to death when aura runs out wait wait for holy war to run out before casting aura again cuz holy war blocks magic then when your aura'd up again use a holy war and continue to limit break. Repeat as necessary unitl ultimecia is dead.

I would have to say Ultemicia, when she's junctioned to her GF.

I have to agree wit those who said ULTIMECIEA, she was really a hard boss especially the time she would bring out that lion.I was actually sweating on my pad before i could beat her LOL. Just joking but it took me a long time to beat her

Ultima Weapon was the hardest non story boss. All the other bosses are harder or easier depending on your own level. (The lower your level, the lower theirs and it's always at a point that you can beat them).

i say it short omega weapon

:shock: Omega Weapon is the craziest freaking boss around...omg...it was hard when i fought it......its best to be at level 90 or higher, i was like super happy when i beat him...then all i got was a stupid Proof of Omega.....>.<....that made me mad, that i went through all that trouble...for that...grrrrrr o well ^_^ i beat him so thats all i need

i'll say ff 10 mainly because i was really unprepared though...

First attempts at final bosses are always hard, since you never know what's comming at you and how properly prepair for it (with exception of FFX). Ofcourse it's alot easier next time.

when i first fought Ultimecia, it was a hard and long battle. When you reach the final form of her, she used hell's judgement, and I decided to be brave and not heal the party with full-cure. (selphie was in my party). so i ended up dying. Now, Ulti is a piece of cake! But omega weapon is the only challenge I need... and it's a tough battle!

To me there too easy hoping for a better chalenge since no boss in any game beat me yet especially the last one....

i think the hardest boss is/was omega. i never defeated him even though i tried many, many times. at some point i had enough and since the prise in my oppinion wasn't worth it either, i gave up. i mean, you can get the three stars by modifying squall's card.
but defeating ultimecia wasn't very hard:)

The Last Boss isn't the hardest >_< The Hardest is Omega Weapon (if you find him) and he is one hell of a killer! He mows me down alot, and the only way to win is Limit Breaks, GFs and alot of Holy Wars XD Really hard compared to Ultimecha to me. :P
