I have to say, I'm actually somewhat disappointed that this album really doesn't cover all of the PC-exclusive DLC character themes. I guess !!!! will always have that over me. :P

Anybody has this one (http://www.game-ost.com/albums/53829/sega_all-stars_premium_sound_collection/)? Just curious if the tracks are any different. BTW, is the iTunes version the same as the physical version?

ok... soundtrack is as annoying as the gamerip. I was hopping a different production in this, but honestly the soundtracks gets just too tiring to hear with the intro of the medley tracks.
I am not talking about the Intro tracks themselves. It's the medley tracks, the way they start... in the game it might work fine and all, but not in stand alone release, annoys me so much that I can't really enjoy it.
I still question Richard Jacques arrange decisions in here.
It might be me getting tired of how much this kinda of electronic sound is getting exploited in game music, thus making me not like this work.

It's probably the direction Jacques was given, considering his remixes for Sonic Generations were amazing.

yeah. he did the boss battles and music there is so awesome. All boss music he worked on Generations, I can pick a favorite track. Although if I am going to be a sucker, I will suck Biolizard "Supporting me..."
I will suck the song, not the lizard. Careful with your imagination people. :p

I did want this OST to be officially released that's true but I don't think of it as spectacular. I think the problem isn't with the electronica itself, Jacques just uses the same samples over and over. This needed more diversity in that regard. That's why it gets boring (for me), many tracks use the freaking same (main beat) samples for the remix. Even worse if he was ordered to kill the diversity :(

I did enjoy the game and hope another gets made eventually.

And I like the most OutRun remix. Yes. Yes, it is dubstep wub wub. I like it here.

I played the demo. Xbox360 and 3DS , and I just can't get used to the damn airplane thing. Maybe I am horrible playing it, but the moment it turns to flying around, I just can't drive it anymore, and then I go on circles and circles and circles ....
lame , I know.
