It's the *character* of Ed, that I think is sexy.

The whole concept of attaching a numerical age to any anime character is just plain retarded to begin with, when it's something in the story, whatever, but I couldn't care less. It's a drawing.

Most anime characters look the same with different color and style of hair. You could take one and call the character a 12 year old, and people would bark at you if you said she's sexy, you could take the identical charcter, maybe change the hair, and call her 18+ and then it's suddenly just fine and dandy to say anything... WHATEVER.
Ed is certainly not a typical anime character, and that's much of her appeal. But that whole show would be exactly the same, and it could be said at whatever point it was that Ed was 18, and what difference would it make? NONE.

Sexy is a characteristic. Looks can factor into it, but it's behavior and character that determine sexiness, Ed's character is super-sexy in my opinion, and it has nothing to do with her age or her appearance. And you need to grow up and pull your head out of something, if you think age creates lines in the world where something is or isn't... hmm, thats worded funny... what I mean,... is that:
Something that is sexy = X
X is sexy when you are 12, X is sexy when you are 14, 16, 18, 24, 30, 40, 80, etc... X doesn't stop being sexy at a certain age or at any age. Specific tastes may change but fundamental sexiness is sexiness, at any age.


I don't sexually fantasize about drawings anyway, I fantasize about my wife, (and occasionally her sister), but it's still beautiful sexy art, and I enjoy and appreciate it for what it represents, conveys and captures. Characters are characters, we all have our favorites for hundreds of reasons.
