Already downloaded the soundtrack and was so disappointed that ALL THE CHOIR is missing on the soundtrack...

Sight. I extracted already the gamefiles but the choir files are acapella. I am hoping someone does a proper rip of this instead of the crappy iTunes releas.

Somebody posted the choir version of "Metal Gleamed In The Twilight" on YouTube! I found this out on another forum here, and I thought I'd share it with everyone interested.

I didn't finish the game but so far this is the only choir track so far. I extracted the game files and there are 3 choir files, but they are just 'stems'. I think the game mixes several tracks in the game to play the full 'choir version'.

The boss fights are quite long sometimes and you hear this awesome theme quite ofter. That's why it is so puzzling that they left it of the soundtrack, while including some other minor ambient stuff.

It seems that someones always looks at the end release of movie/game soundtracks and thinks 'which of the best tracks are we gonna scrap today'. It was the same with the boss theme in Darksiders 2. Epic track playing during the opening and every other boss fight, scrapped in favor of ambient 'music'. Sigh... :)

There is a key piano piece missing in the soundtrack too. :(

Well, the reason I ask is the extract the .pck using QuickBMS, but the .wav's cannot be played. I assume I need to use some sort of program to get that to work. What EXACTLY did you do?

I used ww2ogg and revorb on the extracted files. This gave me the playable OGG files

Huh. I try using a .bat that goes like this

but I get this as an error

And so I decided to try just dragging one .wav onto the .exe, and then drag that .ogg onto revorb.exe. The thing crashes every time I do revorb.

First: for %%i In (*.wav) do "%CD%/ww2ogg.exe" %%i --pcb packed_codebooks_aoTuV_603.bin
Then: for %%i In (*.ogg) do "%CD%/revorb.exe" %%i

Run this from the directory of the files. In other words: put everything in 1 directory and don't use /r

:)

Im pretty sure they are separated, if you take a look into sound files you can almost get the whole game sounds in there. I doubt they mixed anything with the videos.

unfortunately the metal gleamed of the twilight version on ost is quite different from the one on game so i cannot put them together.
What was the other one besides this and hymn of light ?

I am interested already actually since it are the most prominent tracks that are missing. The rest is minor for me. :)

Doublehex is correct but the SFX, dialogue and music are all muxed together onto a single track. There is an additional track which seems to have the dialogue with an effect added to it as well.
