when sephiroth found jenova in cloud's home town 7 years ago from the game story, jenova was in there as in full body right? then sephiroth chopped off jenova to pieces then later shinra took body part to the lab? i m really confused with this jenova stuff. all i know is that she was an ancient like aeris and had weird power so shinra took her ;;

i don't think he chopped her to peices. didn't he just remove the machinery in front of jenova's tank. and wasn't it the head that he was carrying when cloud "killed" him? shinra must've just took the body to midgar. i think the head fell with sephiroth in nibelheim.

yeah but whenever u see sephiroth's clone he drops part of jenova and u fight jenova. wasnt that the parts that sephiroth chopped off?

ummm... Jenova is not an ancient... Jenova is referred to as "the crisis from the sky" remember? Jenova came from outer space and created the crater. as for why you fight pieces of Jenova, your guess is as good as mine.

ah i forgot about that i only remembered what Aeris asked hojo. hmm so jenova is an alien? o_o when jenova was in cloud's hometown it was just a dead body?

i always got the idea it was injecting jenova cells into the monsters that were in the pods.

I get that Jenova an alien and all that. But if she created the Northern Crater, then how did she end up in Nibelheim?

i hardly remember anything from FF7 other than ending ;[ it's been long time since last time i played.

If you remember correctly, the Cetra called Jenova, " the calamity from the skies", meaning she came from the sky and spread horrible plague amongst the promised land.

I dont have a clue why shes in nibelheim though, just wanted to sound smart ^_^

Professer Gast found Jenova at the Northern Crater and mistook her for a Cetra, so I'm guessing they were studying her at Nibelhiem because remember all the notes that Sephiroth found were also there. Jenova, being an alien, can survive even when her body is cut to pieces. When Hojo injected Jenova cells into Sephiroth she was very much alive as ever. Also remember that the Sephiroth clones (including Cloud), were also injected with cells. After finding the fake notes that Hojo left Sephiroth went mad and then Jenova tried to regenrate her original form. That is where we get the reunion from I think because Jenova was calling all the clones (The black hooded ones and Cloud) back to her so she could get her cells back.

ah :) thanks. i didn't really know that jenova was an alien because she look like human ;[ well her body is like monster but still ;o thought her as ancient.

no no no you guys got it wrong, after sefiroth was in the mako for long time he wen,t crazy after a while wehn he learned about his true natuer. janova was not cut off but she was falling apart, what would you think after being in water for 7 years. all he needed was the head so he let the other peaces to destroy cloud and friends. so he get furios and tryies to tack the promise land for him self but also shinra wants it, but later on you figuer he is going to make his own promise land and rule the world.

ACTUALLY, ALTHOUGH IFALNA REFERS TO JENOVA AS THE CALAMITY FROM THE SKY, WHEN YOU GO TO NIBELHEIM (IN THE PRESENT) IN THE FIRST DISK, SEPHIROTH REFERS TO "THE CRISIS FROM THE SKY" WHICH IS THE SAME THING.
