Here is my complete title for this thread, cut down because of the length limit:
Your Favorite Actor And Actress That Have Already Passed On & Your Favorite Film They Starred In & The Character They Played & Your Favorite Quote From The Film By That Actor And Actress
Now that's quite a mouthful. But that's what I call it.

What's you favorite actor and actress that is not with us anymore? What is your favorite movie that they were in? And your favorite quote from both of them. If you need to, you can add other lines from characters to help explain the line. Just saying that Billy-Bob said "shut up, dumb-face" isn't funny unless we know the context of that line. If you can't pick a line, that's okay. Just say the reason why.

Mine are:

Actress: Judith Barsi
Film: All Dogs Go To Heaven
Character: Anne-Marie
Line: All of them. Judith Barsi delivered the lines of Anne-Marie perfectly.

Actor: Alec Guiness
Film: Star Wars Epiode IV: A New Hope
Character: Obi-Wan Kenobi
Line: "For over a thousand generations, the Jedi knights were the guardians of peace and justice in the old Republic....before the dark times....before the empire."

An interesting thread.............

I'll give you an actor. Mine is Leo G. Carroll

The film is The Happy Years 1950

His character is Mr, Hopkins,a taskmaster of a teacher at the private school Lawrenceville.

The best movie quote I've ever heard is this. As there is one minute left in his Latin class,he looks upon his group of disinterested students and makes the following comment to them, which is his opinion of them:

"Gentlemen,I have in the course of my experience as a teacher had to deal with imbeciles, had to deal with near idiots, but for sheer monumental asininity,I've never met the equal of this aggregation."
