I'd like a link as well. I remember liking the end credits music a lot, but I'm fuzzy on any other themes catching my attention - except the war bonds show song!

Maybe the rationale to not use Silvestri again was the change in eras (1940s to present day)? My brain does have a hard time rationalizing why the composer for Cap 1 AND the Avengers wouldn't be brought on again though.

I would like to have a link please, love what you did with comparing the images, really conveys what you're trying to say ;)

I like both scores - they're both appropriate for the subject matter of each film. I can't really see Silvestri's score fitting into Winter Soldier's dark, tension filled action scenes. That score was perfect for the WW2 setting of the first movie - a more innocent, heroic theme.
But that said, it's pointless arguing which score has the more memorable thematic material. Silvestri is unbeatable in that area.

I believe you're referring to the missing Track 26 - Captain America March. This is the iTunes-exclusive end credits arrangement that was recorded and added to the film at the very last minute - under the arrangement of William Ross, as I understand it.

My thoughts exactly! I haven't seen or heard the music for Winter Soldier, but when I found out Silvestri was not returning to do the score I was mad. I keep hearing how this movie is way better than First Avenger, hopefully the music is just as good as Silvestri's although I doubt it. It really ticks me off that Silvestri won't be doing Avengers 2. I was hoping he'd return and make themes for Hulk, Thor, and Iron-Man now I can just forget it. What happened to the days of sucky movie awesome score?
