Out of curiosity what is the 5% recovery record which you normally add as an additional note to your uploads?

It's in case someone downloads the archive and it gets corrupted. They can use the recovery record to restore the archive without having to re-downloads it :)

How you recorded wem to flac or to any audio?

I didn't have to record anything :)

The original .WEM files from the PC version were standard PCM WAV with the Wwise header. I just imported them as raw audio data into audacity and then exported them into WAV :)

A custom mix is still possible as the tracks play through completely twice before a 10 second fade out is applied. The fade out is standard across looping tracks even on commercial soundtrack releases.

These were ripped directly from the PC version which used PCM WAV so it's lossless. I'm not sure where the other rip got its source files from.

That rip was from pc version who use wise.

But this isn't made like an "original" soundtrack. It is a game rip and the standard and what I've done for a very long time is what I've uploaded. Each track has two complete playthroughs followed by a fade out. I didn't combine the ambient, stress and combat tracks because they are separate tracks and should remain that way for a game rip. They might be arranged like that on an official release, having ambient, then stress and then combat.

If someone wishes to combine the three parts into a single audio file, they can edit the files together like I stated above because each track loops twice before it fades out. If that is your preference of arranging your soundtrack rips then by all means, do that.

Low rate? PCM WAV is not lossy, it is lossless as in there is no compression applied to the audio at all.

No it doesn't. The PC version uses PCM WAV for its audio, not Vorbis OGG. I didn't transcode the .WEM files from .OGG into .WAV. The .WEM files were already in .WAV format with a Wwise header.

I didn't combine the ambient, stress and combat tracks because they are separate tracks and should remain that way for a game rip.
